China King

I've been going here since 2018 and it's still a cheap treat. It's decent food for decent price, cant go wrong with it. The owners and very chill and it's never a hassle ordering. Honestly for $10 you get a very filling meal and The bbq ribs shrimp fried rice combo is as authentic as you'll get around this area. Appreciate this place and hope others do too.

I went to China King for some dinner yesterday evening and tried a few items I hadn't gotten there before. Here's the result:Chicken in garlic sauce - says it's spicy, instead it is very sweet and otherwise is kind of bland.Chicken on a stick - It came with five skewers of chicken that was more like jerky on the outside that it was like an actual piece of chicken. The inside of the chicken was chewy. Overall, the chicken on a stick was pretty good in flavor, but in mouth feel and chewiness it really Tank's what could've been delicious. Beef on a stick - The beef on the script came with the same amount of skewers and the beef was slightly less jerky like on the outside, but it was even more chewy on the inside. I'm not sure what they're doing to their meat on a stick options, but I really don't get the appeal of chewy meat. It almost reminded me of the chewy sensation of intestines.I also had one of my usuals, the hot and sour soup - which is the only saving grace for this particular meal because, it was absolutely perfect. They always put all the extras into the hot sour soup and cook it fresh every time, which makes it that much more appealing.I'm docking them by one star, because three items were just not up to par on a four item meal. I'll be trying a few of their other options soon and I will update then as well.

Always quick to our orders! Very tasty and good portions. When ordering wings it's easiest to call in your order instead of placing online.

China King was just ok. Prices are good. I would say I wanted a little bit more wow factor but I can't be too picky. I only went to China king because it was Christmas and the other Chinese take out restaurant in the area has been closed because of the new kroger being built. I ordered veggie spring rolls, veggie fried rice and veggie lo mein. The spring rolls were smaller than I'm use to. The fried rice was not all that good to me. The lo mein was really good. After trying everything I wished I would have ordered more lo mein. The service was interesting. It felt like the workers were irritated people were coming in on Christmas Day. Customer service was not impressive at all. I will continue to look for another go to Chinese takeout restaurant in the area because I do not plan on goin. To China King in the near future.

This place is definitely needed near me. I LOVE Chinese food and this is the closest thing I've had in Georgia that reminds me of the Chinese food from the corner shops back in New Jersey & New York.The fried rice is fried just right. Perfectly seasoned without the overbearing vegetables and just the right amount of egg I asked for. I've had their pork fried rice, chicken fried rice, shrimp friend rice and house fried rice and I've never been disappointed in my own food. I saw my own food because a friend of my boyfriend's got some one night he was at our house and I wasn't too happy with his rice - but he has bad luck anyways - so it probably wasn't even their fault. (JK!)I normally get the wings from here paired with the rice. I really love the honey wings. These are probably my favorite. I have the biggest sweet tooth out there and these wings aren't crazy sweet but the honey sauce is just that darn good and when the rice gets a little bit in there it makes the rice taste better, almost like some duck sauce but GOSH IT'S GOOD! I normally order ahead and my order is always ready within 10-15 minutes. A couple of times I must have been taking TOO long and THEY called ME to come get my food, lol. Only thing is I wish they'd deliver. I'd glady pay the $2.50 standard delivery fee to have this delicousness delivered to my front door when I don't feel like driving up the street.This place is in a shopping center with WALMART (it's right next to Wally World) and it can get hectic, so I'd rather not have the hassle fo finding a place to park my Honda. They are located in between the Walmart and a liquor store - so the traffic between and back and forth is insane. Some time it can be a little overwhelming. There's also a Subway, Ruchda, Family Dollar, Beauty Supply Store, Dominican hair salon and a cleaners.. while an emissions place is located near the rear and a Popeyes is also in the lot .. all I can say is take your time, but I'm telling you this food is worth the hectic parking situation.*secret: just call ahead and park in the front. you'll be in & out in 2 minutes. LOL

I really had a hankering for wonton soup. This was one of the nearby Chinese restaurants. I ordered the lunch special sweet and sour chicken. All lunch specials come with pork fried rice and your choice of soup (wonton, egg drop, or sweet and sour). I also added an eggroll and an extra wonton soup. It took about 10 minutes and the price was $9 and some change. Which I thought to be fairly inexpensive. I thought the pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken was good. However I didn't like the eggroll that much and the wonton soup was kind of bland in my opinion.

Best thing I like about this place is the veggies are fresh. I usually get some sort of veggie stir fry dish with a protein. Just a good, affordable takeout spot.

I ordered chicken fried rice ... my rice was mushy and nasty . was not worth the money what so ever

I ordered shrimp egg foo young and while I was eating I noticed a clear wormlike form squirming in the food. I will never order food from there again. Be careful!

So disappointed! Got an order for General Tso's chicken that tasted nothing like Tso's chicken and did not have any spicy heat at all. Pork fried rice did not have a fried texture and tasted plain with just a few small pieces of pork in the rice. I had tried their plain whole chicken wings which were very good about 3 weeks ago and noticed they had raised the price because it was different than on the menu. Noticed today everything on the menu has gone up. That is fine if I am getting really good or great food , not mediocre. I will not waste my money there again.
