We had sesame chicken, sweet and sour combo, and special lo mein, all dinner combos. The fried rice was moist, sesame chicken was crispy, and the lo mein was flavorful. I'm not big on adding soy sauce so originalflavor is big for me. Overall I give them 4 stars. Great local Chinese food spot.

I've seen a lot of chicken meat in my life, but the chicken in the fried rice we got neither looked like, nor tasted like chicken. It tasted like fish and looked like imitation meat (or cat). The quality of food seems to have taken a dive. This place used to be a family favorite, but now we are moving on to different options for our Chinese food dining experiences.

In my travels, I got hungry. I stumbled upon this place in a shopping strip. I was going to do take out, so glad I decided to stay and dine in. The owner was very nice as was the music...my meal was DELICIOUS! Everything was perfect and delectable.

FOOD: 1st time as a patron to this restaurant, since I live near-by and was looking for a late lunch (1:25 PM; Jan. 19, 2024.) Simple order of Hot & Sour Soup, steamed dumplings and spring rolls; hot tea as beverage. The meal was a total failure. Soup was thin, lacking solids of mushrooms, tofu or any other vegetative content. The base consisted mainly of soy sauce and water; lacking a usual accompaniment of crispy noodles, green onion, or hot mustard. Lastly, soup should be served at a temperature above room temperature. Why the steamed dumplings had a brown caramelization to them, I don't know. But, they were served in a dish that also held about 3 tablespoons of water in which the dumplings floated in. A small dish of what I think was to be a dumpling sauce was only soy: no other flavor could be detected. Lastly, spring rolls are supposed to be light in weight and crispy! Of the two, one had been in the frying oil too long; it was near shoe-leather brown in color; the second one was still won-ton soft and light brown in color. SERVICE: My server would quickly bring the order items and then have a seat to look into her phone; never once returning to see if the food was satisfactory; just once, to place the check on my table.Adding more commentary is pointless. The CHINA INN CAFE is nicely decorated. This is represented by the one star they were given.

Nice Clean, quiet, hospitable location. They certainly know how to please customers.Ordered dinner, we ordered spring rolls and egg rolls, lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken.and it arrived promptly, piping hot, as ordered, and was exactly as shown on the menu. Sizable portions, in a wonderful location. Friendly staff, service with a smile, and never had to ask for anything.Food was delicious, sauces were perfect, zero complaints.We will definitely be happy to return to sample some of their extensive menu items offered!
