I just ordered in from Uber Eats. One of the two dishes I ordered was average, and the other one was bad. Debating on whether or not I will give this a 1 star rating. The Cashew Chicken was the average dish. Fried rice was good. It's not as heavily seasoned, but you're putting sauced chicken with cashews on top, so no big deal. Vegetables and sauce were good. If I had a mad craving for Chinese food that had to be satisfied right now, I'd think about getting it again.The Singapore Mei Fun had zero fun in it at all. Almost no flavor, and the meat and shrimp were under seasoned. The green onions were the saving grace of the dish. That's how bad it was, that I have to hunt for the green onions over the rest of the dish. I might have to drive to McDonalds to get a drink that will take the bad taste out of my mouth. Let me give you some context here. When I taste a Lo Mein dish that's bad, I don't return to the restaurant. But when I taste a Mei Fun dish that's bad, I take it to Yelp. What a waste of money.When I consider that I could drive to Sharpstown and get much better Chinese food than this, especially from the dim sum restaurants, this really disappoints me. Sorry, but you gotta go back to the drawing board.

I have been ordering here for years and the food has definitely gotten better. I sprays order togo and they always deliver my orders correctly. Their crab puff appetizer is my favorite. The creamy inside is flavorful and they're perfectly crunchy. I always ask for extra sweet and sour sauce because they give a small amount for 8 puffs. Their egg rolls are bomb af! I highly recommend ordering them with every order. Super flavorful and crunchy on the outside. Today I ordered the lunch orange chicken that came with white rice, a spring roll and Wonton soup all for $8. Great deal! The orange chicken I always order extra crispy so it doesn't get soggy in the sauce. The spring roll was crunchy and the flavor was alright. The wonton soup broth has great flavor, however the actual wontons are pretty basic. They have a lot of wonton outside and not enough filling in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend ordering noodles from here. They normally are overcooked and mushy and don't have much flavor. I've had the wings here before and sometimes they're delicious but most of the time they are chewy and taste old. This place is a hit or miss depending on what you like, but I've found the yummy dishes and that's all I order.

Really good food! The owner is nice and professional. He went the extra mile for us when my mom ordered an item from a different restaurant that was not on China Inn's menu- he made it for us any way without any problem. That's good business!

Been here many times, and except for an issue of extra charges for to go condiments, they have been consistent. I love the free delivery with delivery orders over $15.They are fast and accurate, and the food is always well packed. Just be sure you ask if there is a charge for yellow mustard to go with your eggs rolls for instance. I feel that condiments should not be charged. Why not just add 10 cents to the egg rolls? Well, I am not an owner, but management has been responsive and accommodating.The egg foo young was good this time as it was not covered in oil. The Mongolian beef and shrimp with lobster sauce were good with decent portions.I still think the new management has upgraded this restaurant. I recomment the spicy pepper fish and hot pot fish as a dine in option.

The store itself was nice to walk into. Pretty small but what would you expect. I was expecting the food to be better by reading the reviews but when I got my food... it was a little over cooked & definitely over priced. My first time at this location and the lady at the front said they hate making egg foo young because it takes so long. I informed her it was my favorite to which she said not a problem it would just take 15 minutes to be prepared and it used to be everyone's favorite but it's a hard dish. Well to my surprise it was the best I have had in this area.
