I wish I can give less than one star. I ordered from Grubhub because of cheap delivery fee. I ordered steamed shrimp with vegetables and on the description it says choice of sauce on the side.My food came with brown sauce and the shrimp is lightly battered and fried.I agree with another reviewer saying that it is greasy. My order was supposed to be healthy but it's very greasy.

Had the worst food poisoning for over 36 hours from this place. Hoping it was a fluke but I'll never return as a customer.

Right on Broad and Cecil B. Moore is China House. At first I heard pretty bad reviews about this place, so I decided to stay clear. But after deciding to go out of pure curiosity. I have to say it's pretty good. Ambiance: Not really a place to go for a date, or to sit down at all. The aesthetic is definitely not to please, more of a get your food and leave kind of deal. Definitely just a take out spot.Staff: They aren't really looking for conversation, again it's more of a get your food and go, kind of deal. Very straightforward. Food: Pretty average Chinese food. They have lunch specials for great portions under 6. And all their food has great portions as well as cheap prices. Overall: It's definitely the place to go if you're craving Chinese food. It gets the job done in a fast amount of time. Tips:* They just started taking cards however the total must be at least $8.00 or more. Bringing cash is definitely recommend though. There is a 7/11 across the street where you can get cash back, as well as a Wells Fargo ATM, and a Bank of America really close by. ** Definitely call ahead to order your food. *** CASH IS DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED !

Very big portions for a very low price. Not much that makes it stand out from other Chinese cuisine on campus. Limited seating inside so defiantly have a back up place in mind if you planned on dining in. 4/5 because it's nothing too special and $.50 for using a card.

For anyone with food allergies, there's a reliable Chinese restaurant that I HUGELY urge you to order from, CHINA HOUSE. Their menu is detailed for dietary restrictions, and food allergies for orders to go, as well as delivery. Moreover, the menu provides an additional place to insert any dietary restrictions, but they take the extra step, and pay attention to detail by marking the containers with the dietary restrictions. BRAVO! It's about time that I found a restaurant that pays attention to the service they provide, and understands the severity of food allergies. This order from China House, after numerous horrible experiences at OTHER restaurants, is a relief! This wonderful restaurant offers fresh food at prices that can't be beat. Whoever owns the restaurant and manages it is incredibly smart, and isn't myopic. The prices are 50% less, on average, many menu items than most other comparable restaurants that choose to be ignorant to food, allergies, and dietary restrictions. The entrees ordered all were delicious. More importantly, all were gluten-free, no MSG, and hours later I'm writing this review, without being sick. CHINA HOUSE GETS IT. The Chicken Mei Fun, and Pork Mei Fun dishes are both excellent. With the rice noodles, and meat (or all vegetables if an option), and assorted shredded vegetables, each dish was fulfilling in quality, and portion size. I'm thoroughly impressed. CHINA HOUSE HAS AN ADVOCATE IN THIS YELP ELITE REVIEWER!

RULE OF THUMB: You can tell a lot about a Chinese Restaurant based on the amount of sauce packets they provide. It's a simple concept: If the restaurant skimps on sauce packets in an effort to cut costs, this usually translates to other cost cutting measures. Most often in the form of poor service and food quality. You can imagine my immediate disappointment when my latest order contained just 3 packets of both soy and duck sauce. This was an order for 4 people. This used to be one of my "go-to's" so it pains me to say that the food quality and service has plunged to the point that I will not be returning. Hopefully, a decision maker at the establishment reads this and makes this place what it used to be. Because if they did, I would come back
