My parents recommended China House. I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. It doesn't look like much from outside but, the inside has a lot of tables. The wife at the register was so sweet. She recommended I look at the "Chinese" menu and I ordered 3 dishes - salt and pepper squid, flat rice beef noodles, and she recommended the fish fillets and tofu since I wanted something with seafood. She was so nice while I waited offering me tea and the dishes came out within 15-20 min. It was packed nicely and she even added some extra freebies for me (2 soups and 2 eggrolls) since she saw I was pregnant. Such a great customer experience!When I got home, I was really amazed by the large portions and the quality of the food. We could eat 3-4 meals out of the dishes as a family of 4. The fish fillet and tofu was so flavorful and tasted amazing. The salted squid was crispy and there was a lot of it. The beef flat rice noodle had a very smoky taste. Not as saucy as other places. That was probably the only dish I wouldn't order again, but it was a large portion. Overall, I can't want to be back to try more dishes. So glad I found a place that has authentic Chinese food and don't have to go way into Chinatown for. Would love if they added bubble tea to their menu.
