China Cafeteria

I am skeptical about chinese food places in general. My boyfriend suggested his old spot off of Cascade Rd. in SW. A no-frills type of carryout and the prices are good. I had the 8 braised wings and shrimp fried rice. The chicken was cooked well but I am not a big fan of braised wings. The shrimp fried rice was fresh and peppery. I like how if they have a serving pan almost empty they will swap out for a new serving pan. (Not like most places will scrape the bottom of the pan).The line looks long when you get there however, they keep it moving. I liked the super-sweet lemonade that I had to cut with some water. A very clean, place where everyone working there had an upbeat attitude. I will visit again just for the shrimp fried rice.

One of the best wings shops in the Hood! The braised wings are always on point! I had to take away a star due to the rice. It's not as flavorful as it was before and it was rice but not a lot of meat (chicken) in the rice. Want a diabetic push? Try the lemonade (good Gawd it's sweet) But they're always nice enough to cut mine with tea. I NEVER leave Atlanta without stopping here.

Let's just say...this was an interesting experience. I was passing through and was hungry and saw this place. Checked out the reviews and figured, "what the hell?"When I went inside, the place was like walking under a heat lamp...no AC on at all! The best was so bad another customer went to the door to open it to allow fresh air in. Anyway, the line wrapped around inside as there was only one guy waiting on customers and one guy doing the register. The guy at the register said he couldn't do the food, he had no training. 15 minutes later the one guy doing the food disappears and the kid on the register hops over to serve the food...wait, thought he wasn't "trained" on how to put rice in a box?The food was actually decent once I got passed the craziness of the place. It lasted me 2-3 meals and I enjoyed it. They lose 2 stars for service, presentation and being out of egg rolls and fried rice, but I'd give it another try.

Basic Chinese takeout. Very popular locally, very reasonably priced. Nothing to write home about but the wings and lo mein are popular. Fried rice is ok. It served our needs in a pinch, but I doubt I'd go back.

Best 'hood Chinese in the SWAT! I've been searching for THIS place for about 2 years. I was hesitant because it just doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside is CLEAN. Broccoli and chicken is quite tasty! Got my spot!

I ate China Cafeteria when I was a kid. I can't believe they're still in business. The texture of the meats they serve are weird now. I can't imagine what the meat really is.

i call over the phone and i asked the man can i place an order and he said no bye then hung up in my face but i had other questions horrible hospitality then when i called back they didn't answer and blocked me from calling that's unacceptable im never going there anymore

I came here paid my money for my food but couldn't use the restroom. This is the worst place I have ever been too. We need to stop spending our money on business that treat us bad.

I'm from Atlanta born and raised..... I have been eating ar China cafeteria since forever I love this place and this is the only Chinese place I eat at its still the best # 1 the best damn Chinese in the hood...

It's good. It's cheap. You Can order cooked to order. It's most definitely worth it. Not too much to say. I like it.
