This place offers a selection of mexican snacks. I only really come here for corn in a cup if I happen to swing by the bakery that is located in the same shopping strip. The area is not the safest but they do have a great corn cup. I have also tried the shrimp tacos here but was not overly impressed. This is a cash only place so make sure you have your pockets full. The customer service could definitely be better as the girls there are not the friendliest. Overall, if you are in the area and have a need for a snack this is an ok option.

Chiles has my favorite corn in a cup in the area with chile that is actually spicy! I also love their torta cubana - so delicious! And you can pay with card, unlike most places that sell elote and only take cash.

Love their corn in the cup. Their beef tacos are better The pork ones are a little too greasy for me. Nothing spectacular but pretty good.

My dad told me about this place. I don't live in this area. But I make it a point to come here whenever I am out this way. I always get the torta chilanga and the corn in a cup. Flavors are great and I look forward to my food every time. You used to only be able to pay with cash but you can also pay with card now!

Rude customer service with an attitude had my food incorrect! I'm not a picky eater at all but I told her exactly what I wanted and she told me in her "paper" I ask for Vegetables like if I wrote that. Is the lady in front can we just have a bilingual person! Disappointed.

Not to be confused with Voodoo Chiles, a Hendrix owned eatery, or with the nation Chile, which is where Santiago is and stuff. This eatery was the subject of the GNR song, "Sweet Chiles O Mine".Lovely little Mexican stand selling very popular corn in a cup and excellent tortas. Service is sometimes nice and sometimes not so great - it depends on who you get. Prices are excellent and while the wait time can be a little annoying, this is definitely one of the absolute best little Mexican stands in the barrio.

When I got the 2021 Houston snow on February 15th, I walked around my neighbors. Chiles was closed. Houston looked like a "dead city". After the snow had gone, I visited Chiles. It was open. I ordered two tacos. The tacos were pricy for me. But They were good. Actually, I hadn't eaten any tacos for a week. I loved the tacos.

This is my go-to torta place , I love coming here and love the variety of tortas they have. Their milanesa tortas never disappoint, and the elotes too! They recently added the chilaquiles torta and it was so good as well. Definitely give this place a shot !

i just got the nachos and they were extremely disappointing. Think High School sports game with condensed cheese and pickled jalapeños. Definitely should be taken off the menu if they are going to sell elote and other "authentic" mexican Food.
