Chicken Express

Food was okay. It's chicken... hard to mess chicken up. Wasn't award winning so yeah...if you're in the mood for some I guess you could give em a shot. Make sure you're persistent with stating you want it hot bc you WILL get Luke warm food.

Surprisingly slow service for the low amount of customers they have. I waited about 5 minutes with no one in front of me for someone to take my order inside. I then waited about 15 min for the 2 filet fish order. The 5 starts are only for the food, it was great and it looked clean around the food prep area.

I came to your restaurant on 04-27-22 11:13am and was really disappointed with the quality of service that was shown to me. That is not the Service I would expect from a restaurant of your level and reputation. You need to make sure that your customers are getting the highest caliber of Service available timely preparation. I trust that this is not the type of letter that you wish to receive from your customers and I also trust that you are going to deal with this complaint in a strict manner while taking all the necessary measures to make sure that such incidents do not happen again.Please keep in mind my fellow associates and I frequent your establishment as we are neighbors and the fact that I only get 30 minutes for lunch thought it wouldn't turn out the way that it did. That being said I paid for my lunch and only received the drink and as I did not have time to wait any longer I had to get back to work. So far we had already waited 27 minutes and the line inside of customers waiting to place orders only grew longer and feel it was not worth the time to wait for a credit to be issued. Please see attached receipt. I would like the "OWNER" not the assistant or Mgr on duty to call me. Look closely at the picture and you can see my plate which the associate acknowledged under the heat lamp waiting on sides ( WHY WASN'T THIS BROUGHT OUT???) I don't get it. I informed your associate of the problem and only he motioned to the plate under the heat lamp and murmured something about a side with a blank look on his face and told him I would return tomorrow for my lunch that I paid for today. Unbelievable!Drug test should be priority at this location as I suspect something is just not right here. The process and sense of urgency is just not there. Everything is carefree and the staff gets "easily side tracked". Will have to find another business where I can get good service. This place has a good location but poor service. In this present time and the way things are imagine the money you are losing.

We live in Sugar Land so this Chicken Express isn't exactly in our neighborhood, but it's this, or drive to Tomball or Sealy!! I read all of the "one star reviews" and honestly you must have changed management because we have nothing but praise for our visit today. We placed two separate orders, no problems!! Ordered livers and was promptly told the wait time for the livers, we gladly waited. We ordered chicken and fish as well and of course the corn nuggets!!! Service was super nice and very accommodating. We detected no "attitude" from any of the employees and we interacted with at least 4 separate employees who were all very nice and friendly. Got home with our orders and we weren't missing ANYTHING!! So in my opinion they get a 5 star rating!! Great job!!

The food was really good! Tenders were just right! Gray n my roll perfect! Okra, good but I added a lil salt for ME! Overall my first time experience was GREAT!

Trash ass place. Can't take simple orders. Always missing something. No communication between employees and slow. Find another spot to go to.

I was in the general vicinity of the Chicken Express on Airtex one Saturday, so I decided to check it out. What's hilarious to me and maybe a bit perplexing is the fact that this Chicken Express is part of an unofficial chicken zone which includes Raising Cane's and Popeye's - all right near each other! However, I do think the Chicken Express menu is slightly different from these other places. I enjoyed my box, which included a roll, corn nuggets, chicken tenders and the delicious white gravy. The green beans I sampled were good. The tenders seemed a bit dry, not juicy. And I think the batter was kind of tough. The seasoning salt packet(s) that come with the order can be stirred into the gravy, which makes it even more delectable. Pro tip: just dip everything in the gravy! (Haha!) Also, I recommend the hot honey sauce. And while I enjoyed my visit to Chicken Express, I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here. This is basically a place I would visit only if I happen to be on the North side of town.

Waited in the drive through for 45 min just to receive cold chicken and the incorrect order... too expensive to mess up! Will never return!

Are times so bad that you have to charge your customers to use a credit card instead of paying cash and watering down the gravy to the point it was like dipping into dirty water. No flavor at all - just dripping on my shirt. Meal was generally good. Chicken was excellent as usual. Service was good. One more time and I will start going elsewhere.
