this restaurant is excellent! I go here for brunch almost every Saturday..The chicken and the eggs are great.Get an omelet (especially the egg white ones) or one of their chicken sandwiches absolutely phenomenalit's weird reading these other reviews like do you all go to fish joints and order a steak and be mad that it's not that great?

Michelle was our waitress. From the moment we stepped in, she was courteous, friendly and professional. She recommended breakfast plates that were perfect. The coffee was delicious and the place had a good ambiance. Middle of downtown place with lots to offer.

My hubby and I had early flight into Miami and was able to order some food from the Egg Spot aka Chicken & the Egg. I am not sure which name the restaurant was list under because my receipt had another. We ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, loaded tots, and a Son of a Butcher with scrambled eggs and cheese. My husband devoured his sandwich with no complaints. My sandwich was a bit dry. I thought the load a tots were a bit salty. I would recommend get some additional sauce on the side or ketchup/mustard. They need to ease up on the salt on the tots my fingers were covered in the seasoning. I did not finish my food or the tots.

Fiore is the actual current name of this restaurant. I am a true foodie from Texas and if you are looking for an instagram worthy food, then this is for you. If you are a true foodie, it is not. Our food, drinks, and service were awful. We arrived to a person standing behind a podium on the street who appeared to be a hostess, but didn't say anything and stayed on the phone the entire time we stood there looking for a table. Finally a lady who didn't seem to speak English sat us. We ordered drinks, 1 being the lemonade which is really limeade, but was delicious. We ordered plain waffles, egg whites, fried egg, loaded tots, and avocado. All of the food was really greasy, the waffles and loaded cheese tots were overcooked, and the waitress couldn't understand when we ordered sliced avocado. She was super nice and trying though. If you just want photos it's probably worth it, but anything else, pass.

So this place is actually now called Chicken and the Egg. There is still one small sign with The Egg Spot but it's easy to miss. This hustling and bustling eatery is located immediately adjacent to a parking garage. $15 flat rate on weekends. It's not a bad deal for the area. Back to the eatery. The vibe is awesome. This street is packed with sidewalk cafes. It's definitely a people watching spot. The place itself is cute. Imagine farmhouse meets downtown. I gave this place 3 stars for a number of reasons. The hostess and server were both quick and attentive. The food however took forever to come out. I'm not sure why. There were plenty of busboys and cooks from what I observed. When the food finally came, our hot drinks were all almost done and cold. I ordered the 222 - 2 eggs breakfast, not a complicated dish. I was very excited when the bacon looked well done as I had requested. But then sadly disappointed when I bit in to a cold piece. I tasted the home fries, they were on the cold side but they were of good taste. I think this place has so much more potential if they fix the kinks delaying the food. Although by the looks of it, they are getting plenty of business.

Super cute breakfast spot near the cruise port area! Music is awesome & ambiance is fun. The restaurant is clean. Staff are friendly & fast. Food is great! BELT is messy & okay (BLT with egg...get something else) . Dirty biscuit is the bomb. Do not pass on the Loaded tots -- so good!

Real simple review here. The service was good, the food was okay. I had the French toast and it was really thick in my opinion, a little dry even. I've had better French toast. The eggs as a side were standard, overall the food was basic. I wish I ordered something else but I probably wouldn't go back it was like a one time stop in for me.

The Egg Spot is a great spot for breakfast. The Matador is a great choice to go with, as are the tater tots. Service is friendly and the restaurant is inviting and warm. The prices are a bit high, but this is to be expected in this new wave of restaurants that offer an upscale version of breakfast items.Once upon a time, when people thought of eating breakfast out, they headed towards a greasy spoon type diner to stuff themselves with a satisfying meal of bacon, eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, or whatever else breakfast items that you craved. There is nothing wrong with breakfast at a greasy spoon diner. In fact, some of my most memorable meals and memories have been created in greasy spoon diners. Now we have upscale breakfast options such as the Egg Spot or national chains like First Watch, Keke's and others. This is a great option if you are looking for a great breakfast in a warm atmosphere and served with a smile.

If your Miami local i do NOT recommend this spot.First off the menu was very limited so we ordered 2 chicken and waffles, nothing can go wrong with that. We also ordered the passionfruit juice and the iced caramel latte. When our waitress returned with our food she brought us the wrong dish.... and when our dish actually came out i was disappointed. The chicken was so rubbery i felt like i was eating the muscle of the chicken i was so confused on what part of the chicken i was eating. And then our drinks were not very good, the caramel latte was very bitter and i also forgot to mention that they charge a fee to add whipped cream which is crazy. i was disappointed in this spot because ever since i visited the restaurant next door i really wanted to come try this place but it was not worth it! They also have a gratitude fee added mandatory no matter how many people are in your party... which it never said on the Menu. Overall the spot is very small and crowded, it is downtown but we were very close to the people behind us. If your going to come try this spot i definitely recommend you look at the restaurant next door first before coming here.
