The quintessential greasy spoon, the place that looks like it came straight out the 1950s. full of fun pictures of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe on the wall, staff that greets you when you walk in to "take a seat anywhere you like". It really feels like a place you can just slump into the booth and relax with a cup of coffee.

This place definitely has that diner retro vibe to it which was really nice. The servers were amazing, very attentive and super friendly. They made you feel more like family friends rather than paying customers. Usually my girlfriend doesn't even like eating in the restaurants but she said the experience here was so warm and inviting she wouldn't mind eating at this place again. The food was good, I wasn't able to find biscuits and gravy on their menu but when I asked the server about it, he said they did have it. I should have asked him about skillets but even then, the Mexican omelet I got was fire. The biscuits and gravy were really good too. Definitely will be coming back, my only regret was I didn't bring more cash to tip my guy directly.

Nothing to complain about here. Great food, good service (if you have a sense of humor, you can even joke with the staff), you get greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Someone left a review about "sweatshops" but doesn't realize that 90+ degree weather, plus a door opening all the time for customers to come in, plus an open grill that is on to cook your food might make it warm when the A/C and a fan is on. If you want it cold, go to an ice cream shop

Meals have a home-cooked taste; soups are great; good steaks and pork dishes; breakfast selections are all good; large portions. Service is good and staff friendly. Uncle Bill's has a true diner feel with music.
