Sushi Junki

Sushi is typical and ok, nothing special but their attitudes are bad, especially on their carry out side. They are not friendly, dry and combative with customers. I mean how hard is it to smile and greet customers as they enter your establishment? And say thank you after the transaction. The young lady with glasses and the young man who take orders are not friendly. Customer service is a very important part of any business. There are many Chinese and Sushi restaurants in the area so be appreciative that I choose to spend my money with you because until their attitude change I will not.

Good service and really good sushi my new spot totally recommend. They were so nice and welcoming.

Best fried rice ever. Sushi was great but the seaweed wraps were a little chewy. HUGE crab Rangoon. Literally the size of a fist. Pretty low key during the week. Gonna miss this place !!

This is my go to Chinese food spot . Always fresh Theu use good Top quality ingredients . Best in the area in my opinion. Ramen is fire too. My kids only want Chinese food from this spot so it says a lot lol .

Food was great. Sushi was excellent. Customer service was great. Inside looks very elegant and well organized. Will be back soon.

This is the sushi spot for sushi and...Asian food!! Seriously food here is fresh and so delicious! I get vegetable lo mein, crab rangoons, at times I get eel with baked rice, I've tried the Thai crazy noodles with tofu. All YUM YUM. And then for sushi it the Chicago Maki for me, junki maki too, futago...ok I've nearly tried them all. So I really recommend trying this place out!

Surprisingly exceeded my expectations big time! I've been in the Berwyn area for many years & have always wanted to try this place & I'm glad I finally did. Their Pad Thai was great & flavorful & everything I wanted in a bowl. No complaints on the entree and I even got the famous Korean Soda to go. The service was good & quick , so definitely no complaints on that end either. The entire experience was overall good & nothing out of this world. If you've never been, I would say definitely give it a try! Plenty of parking as well, did not have any issues on that front either. Also, to mention we went on a weekday during the day and it was pretty empty, unfortunately but I did not mind that at all. Personal Review: 7.8/10

7-25-24 Server Jie LI Bill : 65041My order to go total for $46.34 did not contain any hot mustard. I request only 1 hot mustard and was surprisingly denied. I was rudely told "if I want mustard I have to pay 50 cents for each one. According to the server "I don't care about the cost of your order and being a long time customer, mustard does not come with any order unless You must pay 50 cents for each mustard because the manager/owner Jason said so".

It was my first time trying this local sushi spot and it was amazing. The food was great but on the pricey side. The overall ambience was peaceful. They played soft instrumental music and had a movie projected. Our server was very cheerful and kind and kept our waters full. I would highly recommend this spot!

The food is fantastic and the service kind!My wife and I have been enjoying a variety of Asian foods with consistent quality at Junki (rather an unfortunate name). For me, sushi is the main attraction. The variety, quality, and presentation has been consistently delightful. The salads are well dressed, the soups condimented perfectly, and the fish always tasty. For example, Saba or mackerel as nigiri or in roll seems to me that the chef has carefully cured and prepare the fish as shushi. The server we have had, a mid-age Asian-looking lady (sorry I did not asked for her name) has always been patient and very attentive to our needs at the table.Lunch is a good time to taste dishes from various regions in Asia at a reasonable price. Dinner has been a time for us to enjoy quality of food with families and friends. I do not recommend ordering food to take out, which you have to do through J Wok, the store next door. The food and service have discouraged our business at each experience we had with them. I encourage you to try Sushi Junki, which provides quality of food, great service, in a down to earth setting. Such businesses improve community life and we need to keep them around. Enjoy a culinary tour of Asian cooking!
