It was ok. Pros: small business, kind peopleCons:Not a lot of flavorTip: Cash onlyI only came in here for burgers and fries. The fries had no salt and the burgers didn't seem seasoned or flavorful. So it's an ok place but nothing I'd come running back to. Sorry.

Casual fast food joint. With the a-typical menu of: gyros, burgers, Italian beef, chicken wings, fried fish or shrimp, fries, etc. They serve inexpensive sub sandwiches that should satiate most appetites, though they are run-of-the-mill quality. Big bread, which could use more meat and/or shredded veggies. And the french fries are of the frozen-fried kind. I'd ordered cheese fries once, the quality of the fry so poor I chucked it. We're at a time when many businesses are opting to make fresh hand cut fries.. these guys need to update. (Note to management, check out Red Hot Ranch. If Sub brothers did great fries like RHR, I think customers would stop in more frequently just for a fresh bag of fries. The commuters and the bar crowd would dig fresh fries.)The owners are kind and welcoming but is that why they have four stars? Personally I did not see, feel or eat anything that is extraordinary. It's a fast food joint that is easy on your wallet so long as you have the cash to pay.

Absolutely lovely gentleman taking orders who I assume to be one of the owners. It is because of his kindness that I leave 3 stars.I ordered a grilled cheese and not only was the cheese not melted but he didn't butter the bread before grilling the sandwich. End result was dry burnt bread with two slices of unmelted cheese between the bread. No one else was there either so it was just a sloppy rushed job. The fries are not the best but the price is low so you can't really complain there.In all fairness, my mother ordered the polish sausage and said it was delicious. Had it not been a Friday during lent, I would have ordered one myself!

Excellent sub and a great bang for your buck. Fries were also delicious. Quick service and quality food.

I was in the area and googled sub sandwiches. This is a small hole in the wall but friendly and good food from what I had. The menu was on what looked like a chalkboard, I did not see a veggie sub on menu, so I asked the nice gentleman if they had veggie subs, he said I can make you one and do you want cheese on it? I said yes, lots of choice of veggies for the sub, lettuce tomato onions pickles jalapenos and more I cannot recall. My sub was delicious! I had it on white bread because I forgot to ask if they had wheat bread and he already started making my sub. It was very good....I did not get a drink but they had all sorts of soda including Diet Rite and RC and a bunch of others. I will go back again when in area

Service is great! Don't forget to bring cash but they are really kind and have a big menu! Nice place to sit and eat or take to go.

Cheeseburger value meal? Everything you need after work. The brothers are great, hardworking folks and they provide fast, good food to to the Rogers park proletariat. Nothing fancy, but why should it be?

A Rogers Park staple. Wonderful small business! Great food for great prices. Simple as that.

Oh wow very not good a male work he don't listen and plus why no lattice and tomato hamburgers I feel like this restaurant is going down hill I will not be going back that's just last bet he won't refills my soda and he only check on us one time and made us find him to pay that's bs

I first dined at this place over eight years ago and was not satisfied with that first purchase. I ordered the King combo and when I got it home, there were just two single layers of corn beef and roast beef and the sandwich was very dry. I decided not to go back. Because when I'm starving and on the go, I would appreciate something appetizing and satisfying. Fast forward 8 years later, I decided to give them another try. I told the owner about that bad sandwich experience and I purchased another combo from him after sharing that info with him. That sandwich was layered well and delicious. Now today I zipped back into the restaurant and purchased another sandwich. I noticed it was back to the single layers, the bread was crusty and stale and the lettuce and tomatoes appeared to be freezer burned. It's official, I'm done with this place. Moral of the story - check your food before you leave that place. Maybe they'll catch on and realize they are selling a terribly made product when you stand in front of them inspecting your purchase.
