Prime Sushi & Ramen

We came here for a nice family meal and ordered a variety of dishes off the menu. This place is a simple clean restaurant with great quality and taste in every dish. The house salad and avocado salad were nicely portioned and fresh. The Naruto roll was delicious and fresh as well. The sashimi appetizer had nice thick cuts of quality salmon, yellowtail, and tuna. The seafood ramen in spicy tonkatsu broth was the star of the show. Delicious broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and lots of tasty toppings and seafood. The black garlic ramen in original tonkatsu broth was also very flavorful but not as preferable. We also got the lobster roll, dragon roll and crazy tuna roll. All were delicious and hugely stuffed! The yaki udon dish with shrimp was also a big portion and flavorful too. Everything was so good we all loved it!

Decent sushi spot with some small things that made me reduce the rating.Price is on the medium to higher sideFish quality is better than most spots around the area with just the salmon being a little fishy. Gave good amount of fish inside the rolls.One thing that bothered me was that they did not cut up the cucumber into smaller pieces, so when you ate a piece the rest of the piece dissolves together and you are left with a giant chunk of cucumber in your mouth.The rice was also a little off in the salmon and tuna rolls, the taste was a little off and the texture was harder than normal.They also have a 3% card processing fee so watch out for that. Service was attentive and friendly.

Ordered pick up for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The nigiri was fresh, although a little too much rice underneath. Makis were a little on the smaller side but perfect for a lunch portion. Mango avocado roll and sweet potato rolls were delicious. Next time will definitely order signature rolls at dinner time. Nice menu selection as well. Can't wait to try again!

A Sushi & Ramen place is finally here!The owners are very nice and welcoming. They are currently offering full menu items all day. They offer Dine-In and Takeout. New spot in Hoffman Estates, so happy to have a sushi and ramen place in the area. Cute, casual restaurant - has a front private area and the main dining area can fit a few large groups, but likely smaller seatings. Good variety of appetizers, classic sushi rolls, specialty rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Also offers a few types of ramen - pork, seafood, chicken karaage, veggie etc. Met the owners today and they are extremely nice. Great service when we walked in, received a dish of edamame and a orange carved bear for our kids at the end. What's also great is they are open regular hours and don't close mid-afternoon like other Japanese restaurants in the area. Glad to try this new place. Food is delicious- we ordered two plates of rolls and a bowl of ramen. Everything tastes great! Staff is friendly too. This place is small and casual dining vibe , next to a grocery store. Feel like the price is on the high end of this type of restaurant especially the portions are not big either. I'd go to places like Shaku for date night or special occasions - for similar price range and value.

Its our second visit here today at Prime Sushi & Ramen and it was another blissful belly day for us. We tried their Wonton ramen and salmon sashimi both are good! We even got mochi ice cream on the house! Will definitely come back to try out something new on their menu!

After an eye clinic appointment we happened to find this new Japanese restaurant in Palatine Rd, Hoffman Estates. It's within the same plaza beside Mochidou, and where Sarap Bistro used to be. The place is neat and clean with a very homey atmosphere, we were greeted with a warm welcome by staff and service is prompt. I ordered their black garlic bomb ramen in tonkotsu original soup base (you can choose your preferred soup base for your ramen) and I kid you not, it really is the bomb! I've tried other good ramen places in the Chicago suburbs but this so far is the best. I learned that they just opened 4 months ago, Prime Sushi and Ramen is indeed a hidden gem restaurant worth coming back to. I've yet to try their sushi and other items in their menu, can't wait till my next visit!

Your vegetarian ramen is the stuff of legend. Nice place and ambiance too. The best ramen I've had since I've stayed here in Illinois.

Food was fresh and so good as well as the Thai tea was perfect balance and the service was amazing as well she was so fast taking order seating and running food all by herself on a Friday evening the decor was cute and comforting definitely recommend
