Pita Falafel

Ordered the beef shawerma meal and made sure to repeat my meat reference again to the owner. Got the meal only to find at home that it was wrong order: chicken instead of beef. To make it worse, it really tasted stale and flavorless. I'd never find out if the beef tasted good cause I never got what I ordered. Thanks.

I have been craving some falafels and I searched online and saw this place and wanted to try them out and I'm glad I did. It was pretty yummy! We ordered the falafels, chicken shawarma with fries, hummus with pita and lamb Shawarma. Everything was very good. They don't have dine in so they only have drive thru. You will have to order it and wait about 10 minutes at the drive. It's not a long wait knowing that they cook it fresh right there. We brought it home and it was still delicious. We will definitely come back again!

This place is delicious. The service though unfortunately is very slow and it is only in a drive thru. Also, the place is rocky and dangerous. And the food is pretty pretty greasy. 4/5 food is really good and I recommended this place if yourLooking for a shawarma place to go to on the go. Definitely recommend

A place like this is proof that often the best tasting cheap food is found in overlooked places that aren't at all bougie. It even has a name that's basic and generic. Pita Falafel is an old drive thru in Palos Hills. Looks like crap from the outside. They serve very good shit from the inside though. Basically it's a drive thru and you order from a vehicle and wait a few minutes for it. It doesn't take very long. This is fast food after all but it's just Middle Eastern instead of burgers and fries like most places. Cheap meals. The one I got here was the Super Falafel Sandwich. It's $5.99, which is hard to beat around here. This has hummus, pickles, and tahini. It comes on shrak bread. This is basically just a pita. Good cheap food. It's hard to find cheaper than here. They have a drive thru, but no parking lot so you'll have to find somewhere else to go to eat l this.

Have to give these guys props for being open 24/7 and satisfying your craving for shawarma any time of the day or night. Overall, their shawarma is good. I have tried chicken, beef & Kufta and can confidently say it beats many of the places nearby by a mile or more especially considering they are drive through only and their prices are lower than most. The only areas of improvement, I would say, would be to please invest in a better speaker / microphone so that you don't need to be screaming from both sides. Second, please hand people a receipt at the end of a transaction, which is the norm everywhere. I am often left scratching my head on how much did the bill come up to . Neither does the guy at the counter confirm how much is being charged, nor do they give you a receipt once they swipe your card. You can see all the credit receipts being collected on the floor for some reason. Please hand the receipts back to the customer after you swipe their cards and please confirm the amount with the customer before swiping the card.

Ambiance and service is always trash, but I used to deal with it because I liked this place and it's like underrated... well WAS underrated. Now it's whack, went at 4 am after work to get food wasted 20$ wallah biggest regret ever going there.The falafel was HARD/REFRIED/OLD and the tahini salad was OLD AND LITERALLY HAD A WEEIIIRRRDD TASTE! IT TASTED OLD WALLAH I DONT EVEN WANT TO EXPLAIN. I have been eating these foods all my life and the guy on the phone (8x voicemail, 1x clicked immediately) with his garbage service told me it was fresh and wasn't very happy. I don't want the money or free food. Waste of time I'm not returning and will make sure to try my best to dodge everyone I know from this place! These types of business practices are wallah pathetic and should not be allowed.

Chicken is awful I gagged and threw it away. Plus the worker was alone and looked homeless.. Gross

Best place to get shawarma! I always get the chicken shawarma plate, which comes with fries and a drink, and they never disappoint. Friendly staff and an easy bite no matter the time because they're 24hrs!

The food is absolutely amazing! Super fast considering how laborious Palestinian food takes to make. The falafel and grape leaves are to die for. Grape leaves do sell out fast, so you might not be able to get them if you're not as lucky! The service can be a little daunting considering how blunt they can be, but for the delicious food, I will go through just about anything. It's only a drive thru, so not much ambiance, but it is pretty sleek on the outside with their remodeling. Support local businesses like pita falafel!!

This is the last time I come to this place after repeated service and me trying to keep giving it a chance. Not only do they continue to get my orders wrong but they keep switching up the way they make the food too including the sambusas. And for the love of god please stop hiring people that have to yell through the microphone it just gets annoying. If I can give it 0 stars I would
