Mom & Dad's Deli

Picked up an Italian and American sub today. Bread was fresh and loaded with meat and cheese. Got both the house dressing and mayo. Onion, tomato and lettuce were crisp and crunchy - YUM!!!Also got potato, pasta and macaroni salads. All three are definitely homemade. Owners behind the counter were super friendly.We will be back, this is a WINNER!

Best deli near Midway!!!!! I work in private aviation & need fast, delicious, sandwiches for my clients when catering or delays happen. This is family owned & operated. They do a fantastic job & have plenty of sides as well. Don't go to a chain deli. Come to Mom & Dads!!!!

I have continued my quest to find the best sandwiches in the Chicago area. After checking some reviews, I decided to give Mom and Dad's Deli a chance and headed there for lunch. I was really glad I did and I would highly suggest checking them out. Basics first, this is located at 63rd and Central and is right by the airport. There is plenty of street parking and its a mile or two south of I-55. They do accept credit cards and they will cater your party/event as well. There is a huge selection of hot and cold sandwiches plus lots of salads. There is a big selection of chips and drinks as well.I decided to get a special and tried the Italian Sub which also came with a small soup. I have special place in my heart for a good Italian Sub and this sub was really good. Fresh bread and fresh toppings, I would absolutely get it again The soup was Chicken Noodle and outstanding. It was homemade and fresh. Perfect flavoring.Just another reason why I love Yelp. I would never have tried this place and have probably driven past it many times. Forget Subway, Jimmy Johns and any other corporate chain. Shop local, eat local. This is great family owned place and a great part of the neighborhood.

Fantastic spot to grab a quick but fresh sandwich. The menu is large and they'll make anything you can think of. The pricing is very reasonable and they also have different salads like macaroni, potato, and egg.I had the regular size Italian sub and it was perfect. I added macaroni salad, chips, water and they give you a sliced pickle as well. Everything is sliced/measured right there to make a fresh meal.The decor is definitely dated but it shouldn't bother you when you're enjoying a great sandwich. The owners are very friendly and inviting. It truly feels like you're eating in their own house.It was so good that we ordered 3 subs to go for our passengers catering request.

Great staff and very yummy food. I loved the owners so much. Very fresh food. I recommend the bun vs the bread though.

Great little deli. Try the foot long Italian. They have great bread ( Turano ), good bite and a little chewy. Why would you Subway when you can have a great sub without going down Grand Ave. I'd give 5 stars but the foot long is never 12 inches and after 20 plus visits I always get the but end of the loaf, I mean that's fine if you are dipping in Sunday sauce but seriously, every time?

Fantastic!The sandwiches are amazing! Why go to a cruddy Subway when this is nearby?Also, the owner makes fresh roast beef that not only tastes amazing, but is extremely tender.They also offer homemade soups. The owners are very friendly, as well. If you are near Midway Airport, then this is the perfect place to stop for deliciousness abound!

Great folks and great food! Got the Ruben and potato salad, both were excellent. The owners are very sweet and helpful for recommending sandwiches

They have the best Deli food ever. My favorite is the turkey on whole wheat.Their turkey is fantastic and they give you a very good amount. I stopped at Arbys to try their turkey sandwich. I was very disappointed, the bread wasnt good, turkey was only fair and the amount of turkey was very small. The only reason I even stopped was Mom and Dads were closed. I wont be trying anyone elses turkey again. Another real good sandwich is the BLT. Try the soups too, love the cream of chicken. I could go on and on. Just stop in and try their food you"ll love it all.Signed a very satisfied customer.
