First time here at m Henry!!
food
Chai latte
The kids menu French toast and sausage links. True to the menu, they brought them out first so our two year old didn't get fussy.

Decent brunch spot but it didn't blow me away. Pretty casual interior with plenty of seating. Service was a bit slow but we came on a busy day.Hot chocolate was on the milky side and could have been thicker/stronger.Latina Omeletta was alright, the omelette itself could have been fluffier. The plantains were on the mushy side. Home fries were yummy!

I was shocked by the issues before we even ate: super loud, sticky tables, and a dirty menu. The menu itself was overpriced with no simple options, like ordering eggs as a side. I had to ask and the server wasn't sure. The food did not redeem any of this. Dry, bland pancakes, overcooked eggs, and a quiche that was both undercooked and burnt as well as not what was advertised on the menu. The side salad was a random mix of leftover fruit and veg scraps. The bacon was also undercooked and burnt. A secondary server was rude when I mentioned something was missing. We left pretty quickly after.I'm avoiding this place going forward.

What! I can't hear you! We went to M. Henry for breakfast today and the very first thing that hits you close to the front door is the deafening noise.M. Henry is probably the noisiest restaurant I've ever been to. The tables are close enough to hear your next-door neighbors' conversation not to mention Kids screaming and running around.I ordered the Blackberry Bliss Pancakes, fluffy hotcakes layered with w/warm blackberries & vanilla mascarpone cream, & topped with brown sugar & oat crust. Simply delish! My friend ordered the Dandelion, shallot, and leek omelet our fluffy omelet sautéed with dandelion greens, caramelized shallots & leeks, and fontinella cheese, served with house potatoes or mixed greens salad.I would come back but I wouldn't eat in the large eating area but opt for the few tables near the front door or the patio weather permitting Good coffee and clean bathrooms

Not my first go around at m.henry and - this establishment is one of the places I try to frequent whenever I'm in the Andersonville area. Each time I come here, I leave thinking breakfast/brunch/lunch was awesome. This time was no exception. Service was great - my waiter pointed out the seasonal salad and I loved the greens tossed in tahini dressing. The avocados were perfect and the grilled chicken was super delicious. My partner got a salmon sandwich and we were amazed at how big the salmon filet was. The sesame slaw and grilled red onions went well with the sandwich and we were both super satiated and happy with our meal. One of the best brunch/lunch spots in the area!

Great food, great service in a cozy spot. I had the dandelion omelette and my husband had Jorge's black bean cakes with huevos borrachos. Makes us want to recreate the breakfast and make black bean cakes at home! We want to come back and try a slice of their homemade pies, especially the sour cherry. Sometimes coffee at breakfast spots can be weak. Theirs was spot on. We'll be back!

We stopped in for breakfast the day after we arrived in Chicago based on the reviews and reputation. When we walked in there were a lot of people eating but they were able to seat us right away. The place is bigger than you think. Despite the tables being closer together, I didn't feel cramped.Their menu is inventive, blending classics with modern twists. I was debating between a few egg dishes but landed on the dandelion, leek, and shallot omelette. I'd never had dandelion greens before and heard they were bitter. The omelette was far from bitter, but full of flavor and well-cooked veg. The potatoes were nicely seasoned with their in-house blend. My partner opted for the veritable vegan epiphany and loved the flavor and portion size. He got the fruit cup on the side and we appreciated that it wasn't full of filler fruit. We appreciate how many vegetarian and vegan options they had!I'm looking forward to going back.

The place itself is super cute and inviting. I came here during a week day by myself and did not have to wait. The menu had a ton of yummy options so it was hard to decide what to get but I went with the berry bliss pancakes and a side of roasted potatoes. The potatoes were nice and crispy and I loved the audition of peppers and onions added to it. The pancakes were moist and full of flavor. This is must go to brunch spot in the Chicago area!

Loved this cute café!Tried the salmon sandwich and the rhubarb pancakes. The bliss cakes are dense and delicious. The sauce was delectable!I absolutely loved the salmon sandwich. The bread was great and the salmon was perfectly seasoned. Loved the slaw that had nice sesame oil flavor. I highly recommend! I definitely enjoyed the place and the servers were very nice.

The omelette was fantastic, the cheese was well paired and the potatoes were great. I appreciated the non-conventional omelette option. The Iced coffee I ordered ended up being cold brew, but that's common. The service was good and a bit hands off, a busy brunch. We had a small issue with the QR code checkout but we ended up resolving that with the server. They didn't try to push us out either when we stayed to chat for a bit after our meal which was kind. The environment was loud but what do you expect for ambiance on a Sunday brunch
