I accidentally found this place on Google maps and because I liked the name of the bar. But whoa, this unassuming place is such a hidden gem. It's blackout with elegant lighting and seating. And the cocktails are creative and the bartender serving was able to help me choose my drinks. My top two so far are: COUNT THE RINGS (fruity, creamsicle) & CALM WATERS (very strong sweet martini). I also had a Can a Corn which wasn't as sweet as I was expecting but that's just my preference.Definitely will be coming back especially for date night

I've been here a few times. Extremely mid overpriced cocktails and an even worse doorman. Kicked us out for standing near the bar? If it's crowded (and I don't know why this place would be) don't go in because I guess you're not allowed to stand at the bar and order.

What a great small cocktail bar in the neighborhood! The bartenders are all super goofy and very nice. We tried the: Fire in the hole (so good and spicy), a coffee cocktail featuring JaguarTequila, and a Jaguar Tequila/wine wash cocktail. The last two cocktails are part of their seasonal/featured menu. I also had a lavender cocktail (count the rings) that tasted like nothing I had ever had before - but in all the best ways! They do not do any food including bar snacks.

Very popular neighborhood cocktail bar. Solid drinks. Nothing that blew my mind, but I think the greater selling point is the ambiance. Love Street is not very huge, so there's somewhat limited seating, but they make the most of it. The bar is long with seats spanning the whole length of it. There are a few high tables against the windows and wall, and just two round/booth tables at the back, which are "communal." Anyone who can fit can sit, pretty much. Beyond that, it's "standing room only" - standing anywhere there's space. Love Street is dark and moody with stylish pink and purple lights. If you want a cocktail bar, this is a cocktail bar. It seems to be very popular as all seats were occupied when I came at 8pm on a Wednesday. We left and came back later in the night and were able to find space at the bar. All cocktails were $16, including the seasonal specials. The Hibiscus Margarita I had was solid - tasty, strong, very acidic - no complaints, but not the best margarita of all time or anything. Maybe more expensive than I'd want to pay for a margarita, but not the worst price I've seen for a cocktail bar. Again, I think Love Street's strongest suit is its ambiance. If you've seen the photos and it looks like something you'd like, you'll probably like it. I am not coming back just for a drink, but I am glad I know about Love Street as it's great for An Occasion, and I am glad it's in the neighborhood.

Huge fan of the drinks here!! It's such a cute atmosphere for fun cocktails and the drinks were GOOD! The All Grown Up was one of the best drinks I have had in a long time - still thinking about it!

We were there right when they opened, but we wanted to try it. We were thinking of having an ice cold beer, but this place is for cocktails. I tried a Spanish Caravan which was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back to try other drinks. As they had just opened, it was empty, but yet barkeep said the weekends are like a club with music and crowds...expect a wait for a drink.

In love with Love Street. I grabbed dinner with some friends and one of them suggested we come here afterwards, and I am so glad she did! Love Street is tucked in an unassuming neighborhood in west Lincoln Park. If you aren't looking for it, you just might miss it! Upon entering, we were greeted by such a friendly doorman who let us know it was standing room only. This was at about 9ish, and it was already packed, so definitely come earlier if you can swing it. As we were walking in, a couple was leaving so we were able to snag a few seats at the bar. The space is dimly lit and intimate, the type of place you would expect in the West Loop or River North, but we were able to enjoy it right in LP!The menu has some really fun offerings that matched the atmosphere. I ended up going with an espresso martini and it was so delicious! It had the perfect balance of creaminess to offset the espresso and vodka. My friend ordered the gypsy queen, a vodka based drink, and really enjoyed it as well.We had SO much fun here! Perfect little date night spot to visit before or after dinner.

Cute little bar in the DePaul area. My daughter, a DePaul grad, has visited this place many, many times, and I'm flattered that she wanted to share it with me!When we arrived, there wasn't a hostess working, so we wandered around trying to find either a table or two seats at the bar. We were just about to leave, when a couple at the bar grabbed our attention and offered their seats as they were preparing to leave. The menu has a wide variety of cocktails, and I had a hard time deciding which one to order. I finally talked to the bartender and told him what type of drinks I enjoyed, and he custom made a drink for me. It was great!
