La Iguanita

Wow, this place is the perfect restaurant for me. An absolutely no-frills hole in the wall. Super clean and taking covid precautions seriously. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and gave some of the best service I have ever had in a restaurant anywhere. The real star is the food though-- seriously, the tacos al pastor brought tears to my eyes. The sauce on the pork was so flavorful and everything was super fresh and hot. It came with free chips that seemed like they were just made and accompanied with the best salsa. I'm getting hungry just writing this review. I need to go back this weekend!

This place is not upscale or fancy but it serves delicious food and has real good customer service. It's a hole in the wall spot with great Mexican food. I had tacos al pastor and carne asada.

Use to order food here from work all the time. Never knew where the place was until I googled it. Lived in the neighborhood for three years and never knew of this gem until i started working near by. Their burritos are so freaking amazing! They are huge. Fresh steak and that green salsa is beyond amazing. Yes I know cash only can be annoying but it's worth it. Their tacos are good and never cheap on the meat.

Best tacos in this part of Chicago. The carne asada is so delicious ! Try the green salsa that has avocado sooo good.

Good fresh steak , tomatoes, and beans.The burrito was filling just what I needed.The punch is natural and quenched my thirst without too much sugar. The green sauce has lots of flavor surprisingly most places too watered down. Like always I love the taste of the red sauce but way too spicy hot for my taste buds unless I am home and then I have time to deal with the sting. Nice lady!

Now this place has some bomb ass tacos this are real tacos highly recommend this place Chips and salsa amazing Service was great The tacos de tripa and asada are super bomb!!!!!

Wasn't expecting for this restaurant to be that good based off of what the front of the restaurant looks like, but never judge a book by its covers. La Iguanita is probably my favorite go-to taco spots. Food is always fresh out of the grill. The service is always amazing and kind. Don't get me started on the guacamole salsa, it's delicious. I've only seen guacamole salsa in restaurants in Mexico and that's what makes this place standout is that I feel like I'm getting a home cooked meal every time I eat here. Great food quality all around!

Food is great, never had anything bad. Authentic arrachera steak tacos are Delicious. People are very nice. Recommend tacos, steak nachos, steak chilaquiles verdes and Avocado Salsa is great.

New look, fresh remodel still great taste. Only place I've seen in town with real arrachera steak tacos!
