Sooooo good! We've been here a couple times, and it's been outstanding both times! The Beef Bulgogi is divine! We also had the spring rolls which were both crunchy and tasty. The staff is incredibly nice, and the food comes out fast! They have a nice small patio outdoor seating area out front which is great to take advantage of during the summer. We will definitely be coming back here again and again!

This restaurant serves some of the best food in the area! We began our meal with the spring rolls, which were perfectly fried, crispy, and had a flaky crust. The highlight was definitely the Beef Bulgogi--the beef was incredibly tender, and the sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Crunchy Spicy California roll was outstanding, easily the best I've ever had. Beyond the great food, the service was top notch, I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Tiny place, and despite the great pictures and reviews, maybe I needed to take a deeper look at the timeline on when they were posted. The food menu was limited and not an ideal experience for this Korean gal. Forgot what the bulgogi dishes were called, but it seemed acceptable. My bibimbop was cold, and the rice was not fresh or remotely warm. The new dish was better but tasteless, and the side dishes were an insult of 3 or 4 tiny tasteless kimchi, something else, and sprouts.Service was decent and more forthcoming when I spoke Korean, but i was not happy...

Visiting Chicago in Nov' 23 and we were on lookout for sushi spots. It was raining and also pretty cold out IIRC, this was a Korean sushi fusion spot so we decided to stop by here.No idea any of the dishes we ordered, but the last photo of dish with egg in center was mine. It was great, spot on.We shared little of each from every plate. All food was good actually. The plate that was almost all green color, that was excellent too.Like I said, all dishes here were excellent, enjoyed this Korean/sushi spot in Chicago. Pretty great, hopefully can visit again.

Marking this as one if my absolute favorite places to eat! Definitely stands out against the other Korean restaurants Ive been to. Food was delicious! Had the main course and side dishes of kimchi, bean sprouts, potato, etc. as is custom for Korean food.Server was amazing as well! Checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and explained they had a homemade hot sauce which I personally loved! She also gave us some extra rice at no charge! Not too many places to sit but it has a nice aesthetic inside. Will be back for more!

I came here with my family so I'm gonna make my brother write the review. Here it is:The service was excellent with a very attentive and considerate server. Service was quick and the wait for food was short. All the food came out at about the same time and was of excellent quality. All three dishes were surprisingly large in size and also came with side dishes. Each dish was arranged in a nice manner and were all delicious. The restaurant has a very chill atmosphere with dim lights. The atmosphere really excels once the sun sets and the stage is set for a nice evening meal.I'm not sure if my sister agrees but these are my thoughts

I had the most positive experience at Kim's Korean Cuisine and Sushi this past weekend. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! All the staff members we interacted with were kind, attentive, and truly cared about making our experience enjoyable. We were in a sushi mood, so ordered the Fried Miami roll, Crunchy California roll, and Soft Shell Crab roll. Each roll came with their homemade crunch toppings, which I believe were made from spinach, onion and beets. It was so unique and delicious! They provided some Korean side dishes including kimchi, radishes, and cucumber salad. Every time we finished a bowl, our waitress was prompt in refilling it! My favorite roll was the Fried Miami. It had a great spice to it and it was one of the best friend rolls I have tasted in the midwest. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this place, and we will certainly be back again!

Kim's is an adorable little restaurant tucked away on Broadway! Since it is a smaller restaurant, it's probably best to make a reservation before going. Also, they're BYOB! They had a pretty big menu and it was easy to substitute tofu for many of the main dishes. I tried the crunchy tuna roll. I looved the crispy fried onion crumbs on top. They had one veggie roll with fried sweet potato which is my favorite! But I was too full to get anything else. Everyone else loved their meals and the portions were very big! For dessert, they gave us free choco pies yum!

Stumbled upon Kim's while looking for a good BYOB spot for dinner on a Saturday night for 5 of us. After many nearby restaurants had long wait times or only small tables and seeing the high rating for Kim's, we called ahead to make sure there was space and by the time we arrived 3 minutes later they had already set up our table for us! The restaurant was pretty empty and simple but ended up being perfect for conversation. They had wine glasses for the wine that we brought in, and the service was excellent - our server happily gave us recommendations and was very attentive and brought out our food very quickly. We shared the edamame to start. I got a miso soup and the crunchy salmon roll which was the perfect amount of spicy and very filling!! My friends got the sweet potato roll and the bibimbap and everything looked sooooo good. The bibimbap came with so much food, including 4-5 sides which our server offered to bring out more for us if we wanted. The meal ended with complementary orange slices which was such a pleasant surprise. I was very pleased with this impromptu casual neighborhood dinner spot and will absolutely be back! A hidden gem for sure.

Some of the best Korean food in the city! It is a very small restaurant with limited seating so be aware there might be a wait if you are trying to come during peak dinner hours. Fortunately, we arrived towards the end of the dinner rush so we're able to snag a table that had just opened up but unfortunately, we were a little too late for sushi since the sushi bar had closed an hour before the restaurant. We ended up getting beef and pork bulgogi which were both delicious! Highly recommend the pork bulgogi, even my boyfriend who really likes beef said that it was his favorite. It's a great spot for date night and the staff is very friendly! Definitely check it out!
