When you're tired and don't feel like cooking, this is the place to go! It's a super casual Pakistani diner with a wide selection of dishes. They offer everything from Butter Chicken and Achar Gosht to Daal, Bindi, Haleem, Nihari, Chili Chicken, and much more--all under $15 each. You can pair your meal with naan, garlic naan, paratha, or rice.On weekends, they also serve Halwa and Puri, though I haven't tried it yet. Ibrahim, the cashier I see often, is super sweet and accommodating.

Checked out Ghareeb Nawaz for the first time and the food here is really good! Ordered the Boneless Chicken Biryani with a side order of Garlic Naan. The chicken was very tender and cooked to perfection, with just the right blend of spices and rice. The Garlic Naan was also huge and paired perfectly with our meal.One thing that stood out to me was their generous portions! They give you so much at such a good price and they even have lunch special pricing at just $4.99. It's rare to find such a good deal noways especially for the quality and quantity of food you get here. The portions were so generous that I had enough leftover for 2 more meals. The restaurant has indoor seating and they are open til 12AM every single day. Service is really good here and we were able to get our food super quickly. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from with generous portions and unbeatable value. Will be back for more!

Tried the chicken tikka masala with paratha, wasn't very impressed, it had a lot of red color and tasted like an ordinary chicken and gravy. I heard their lam biryani is a speciality but it was finished so we couldn't try! The ambience was not that great, but similar to what most desi restaurants are like, no decor, just meta tables and chairs. It was overall clean but seemed like someone recently mopped with a strong chemical so the whole place smelt like cleaning agent. Service was very fast though and they were nice to have us taste their mango lassi which was okay!

Delicious and inexpensive! My whole family enjoys going when we are at a loss to what to make for dinner!

This is the suburban location of their main branch on Devon Ave. If you like the location and the food on Devon Ave you will love this one. Exact same menu of Pakistani and Indian halal food. They are open late and located in a strip mall off a busy street and have plenty of parking. They have fast food style setup. You will place the order at the front counter and pay on the spot. Once the food is ready they will call out your order and you can pick it up. They have a decent seating area.I would rate their food in decent to good range. Their prices are the best when it come to the Desi food. Fr example their chicken biryani is $7 with a generous portion size. Something similar at their competitor May cost you $12. In addition to the chicken biryani I would also recommend their chili chicken. While you are there make sure to order the pratha along with naan.

The prices at this place are not like the Chicago location unfortunately. They seem to be out of chicken biryani all the time and so you're forced to eat the boneless chicken. Although it's still really good, if sucks we can't get the cheaper option.

This is a great no frills casual place to have a simple meal. Everything is made fresh and portions are generous. They offer so many specials. If you go before noon, some plates are $1 - $3!!! Also has several weekday plate specials $4.99 (as of 10/16/21 the date of this review). The chicken biryani we ordered was packed enough for 2 people easily and had plenty of chicken pieces. They actually have several kinds of Biryani not just chicken. The puri's with the halva were more like batoori's (thicker and tastier than puri's - see my picture) and a good size. The egg omelette paratha platter was very good as well. We really loved the shami's. They had a very good flavor and they used a good amount of beef in them. We also took home a dozen tandoori naan as they only charge $1 each and are the same size as all the restaurants that over charge! Great casual place to eat or take out. Great variety of items for everyone including vegetable and meat dishes. Owner is super friendly and cares that you enjoy the food.

My kids love chicken biryani and butter chicken. Our favorite place was closed so we tried Ghareeb Nawaz instead. It was outstanding and so reasonably priced! Butter chicken was creamy and nicely spiced. Chicken biryani was tender and the rice was excellent. I also tried the spinach and potato. It was spicy and delicious. Chapati were huge, warm and soft. We will definitely be ordering from Ghareeb Nawaz again!

Quick service, good food with portions big enough for 3 people. Got butter chicken, garlic naan and veggie samosas.

Placed 2 orders for delivery but received one order. Called Grub hub, they were very understanding and reimbursed money for undelivered item. But dinner was ruined!!
