Donald's Famous Hot Dogs

It has been more years that I can count since the last time I got to have Donald's Famous Hot Dogs. There was one not too far from where I grew up that I got to stop at on occasions and I've been to them in other parts of the city and surrounding area. I know I've driven past this one but I don't think I've ever stopped at it before. But since I am in the area and it was lunch time I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity. I was going to have to eat while driving and it was pouring rain outside so I took a chance in their drive-thru and ordered something simple. I just ordered their two hot dogs with fries combo and got the dogs plain. Ordering was easy and the employees were friendly.The french fries were everything I remembered being a straight cut fry with just the right amount of salt and coming in a paper sack. It has been a long time since I last had plain hot dogs and these were everything I remember about eating them. They tasted like memories and I wish I had more. This was the perfect meal to get me through the day and then price was spot on. One of the things I've learned about good food is that it often comes from places that look their age. Donald's have always looked to me like places that have been around forever. The food though is everything you want it to be.

Nothing special about the dining area, but dining room is clean and the food is solid.I had the Double Cheeseburger Special which includes Fries and a medium Drink. Quality ingredients, burgers cooked perfectly, fresh shredded lettuce, tomato slices, dill pickle and mustard. Add your own ketchup or whatever. It's the little extra touches which can make a burger special. Donald's toasts the bun! Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and perfectly salted.My wife had the Gyros Special, and she loved the extra onions and the generous sauce. The meat is tasty, and the pita is toasted. Solid gyros!I'm eating in the restaurant on a frigid evening and while the dining room is not full, there is a steady stream of customers coming through. The young lady taking our order is friendly, courteous, attentive and unlike 90% of young people who work in food service! Donald's is a winner!

Everything that I have tried there, I've never been disappointed! I love the Gyros, Their tacos, their cheeseburgers and fries, and even their salads are good.

Awesome dog. Had the fully loaded with peppers. Fantastic can't wait to try more varieties!

Stopped here for lunch today and had the beef (dipped with giardiniera and mozzarella), fries and a root beer. Very impressed with the beef! Very tasty and very big! More than enough to fill you up! The fried were decent. Nice big cut fries. Staff was super friendly! Squeaky clean restaurant too! I highly recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be back for more!

I eat here all the time! So does my office staff. They are right up the road from our office in Broadview, and has the best soup, year round.The staff is great too, friendly and the service top notch. Try the gyro platter and the Greek salad--truly fabulous, fresh fare in a market that is full of "fast food" --Donalds provides the healthy fare, at reasonable prices ALWAYS!

Rude, long wait times, they forget items- twice now. Just not good. Menu large so maybe that's the problem.

Food is great and the lunch crew is even better ! Clean dining room with ample seating !

Poor service! Heavy young lady with blonde hair has a terrible attitude and extremely rude! They made my order wrong and when I went back to fix my order I asked to keep the hotdog they made wrong. She allowed me to but with irritation and when she handed me my correct order she yelled you're welcome as I drove off. I thought a "my apologies for the inconvenience" should have said. As I called back to complain they answered then left placed me on hold while they talked about how I was defensive and rude....they screwed my order up and had me come back but I'm the bad guy?? Customer service is key and simple therefore she needs to learn the basics.

Great food with a large selection to choose from. Workers are very nice & place is clean.
