This is a true South Side of Chicago joint, the food is great and prices still good i don't know anywhere you can still get a huge slice of pizza for under 4! The Italian ice had a million times never get tired ask the flavors it changes every day they will mix flavors for you also! Had so much off the menu it's all amazing! I grew up in Bridgeport and this is very very close to those old neighborhood fast food joints it takes me back for sure! Love love love go there you will not be sorry!

First time here & was disappointed. I ordered a beef sandwich with sweet & hot peppers. At first glance, it looked amazing, right from the first bite I knew looks were deceiving. The sweet peppers were ice cold & the beef itself was rubberized & dry. Not much else to say other than the beef sandwich gets a 2 out of 5 stars from me today

Famous breaded steak was a disappointment. Not even the peppers had flavor. The steak looked and tasted very processed and you would think they would make sure the fries for an eat in customer would be hot, or at least warm.... You would have thought wrongly. It looked delicious, don't get me wrong, but no flavor and cold fries. I wonder if there is new management? But..... not good. Sorry

I'm from Cali and everytime I'm out in this area for work, I'm getting a deep dish to bring all the way back home to the family! They love the pizza! The service is always great and greeted with smiles. Always make it a point to stop by every time I'm in the area.

Casciani's has always had a good pizza. But lately we've been going for the pork chop sandwiches which so far, have been very good. Their steak sandwich is definitely worth trying as well.

Amazing slice! Every time I visit the area I make sure I drop in - even if I have to go out of my way to do so. The cheese and sausage slices are an all-time favorite, and we're going back 20+ years. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

The good:-fries-hot dog-Beef juice-italian sausage-Giardinera -BreadThe not so good:The beef was sliced too thick and over cooked. Suggest, slicing the beef thinly and watch the temp of the juice.Pay attention to thedetails for an awesome sandwich.in my humble opinion....

Ordered the chicken Hermanooch, grilled chicken sandwich, and deep dish pizza. Really impressed with this place! I feel like this is the kind of low-key joint that makes Chicago known for its food. Everything was fresh and amazing, even the vegetables on the sandwiches. Winner will order again.
