Everything here is outstanding! It's gets a little hectic because it's crowded but well worth the wait.

This little hidden. Gem in the neighborhood. It is not on a real busy street and if you drove pass you would not know it is there. It sits on a quiet block a lot City workers come to this bakery. I had the maple bacon long john brought two of them. My guy did not like his too much bacon. I felt rhe same way less bacon or they type of bacon used maybe could have put some in the batter. The maple frosting was good. My stepson ate part of mine and part of his dads. He sais tou need to add nuts. The white long john and cinnamon role were ok. Glaze ones were good. I have had there cakes. And there were good.

I have been going to Calumet Bakery for years and I love all of their cakes. I ordered two cakes for my daughter's baby shower. Of course I expected nothing but the very best. These were the absolute most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. Everyone was blown away. The ombré roses were gorgeous and the cakes were delicious of course. Thank you Calumet Bakery for an outstanding job!

What once used to be a great bakery, has turned into a joke! The customer service is nonexistent! Long story short, a birthday cake was ordered and I went to pickup my cake and they couldn't find it. So after ruining my birthday, not one effort was made to fix the problem! Let the buyer beware!

My family patronizes the locations in Whiting Indiana and Lansing IL but they long forgot this original location is still open and going strong. There are very few places we can return too and find them to be exactly as we once remembered them many years ago. Calumet Bakery is one such authentic place!I purchased a large raspberry coffee cake, a brownie, a blueberry Danish and a chocolate doughnut all for the remarkable price of $7.75. Excellent quality, rich chocolate and fresh as can be.Since 106th west of Torrence is One Way going east, just drive around the block to get to the bakery. Park right in front! Smell the goodness inside!Highly recommended! Please keep the place going strong and patronize this wonderful bakery!

I had being going all the way to the Lansing location I didn't know that the original location was right around the corner from me. I ordered three cakes from them two in October for my besties and one in November for my Mom and all of them was amazing. I most definitely will be coming back to this location!

I ordered my pazcki's and had to dig myself out of my house and out of my parking spot for three hours before I could go pick them up! That was the best Fat Tuesday breakfast! I had the Boston cream, cream cheese, strawberry and whipped cream! I cannot wait to go home and eat the rest! Minimum foe this year was 6 and they averaged under $2 a piece. The cashier is friendly as always and keeps me laughing!!! Next time, slice of carrot cake, red velvet, and the atomic cake!!

Every year I get my son's birthday cakes from here and they NEVER disappoint! I even stop in from time to time for cheesecake or donuts. I don't remember the lady's name that's on 106th, but I adore her. Her level of customer service is phenomenal. Thanks Calumet

. Today, Sunday, as she was cutting from the half of the cake thar was left, she noticed a hair! Not on the side of the cake, not on top, but INSIDE the middle of the cake. She cut that piece out but then noticed the hair continued. In the end, that hair was at least 6 inches long. GROSS !! In our discuss we threw that half away. I wish we kept the cake, I would have taken it bake to the Bakery to show them. My stomach is still turning at the thought. Was there hair in the pieces that we and our guest ate? We will NEVER purchase from this company again !!. I will call first thing Monday morning to let them know. Look closely at the pictures, enlarge if needed, you will see the hair. Wouldn't that also be a Health hazard?

Do not order any cakes from this bakery there very unprofessional and rude, the women that work there have no sense of customer service, I called to order a cake the lady told me I couldn't order a cake I asked why and she stated I can order and cake but not a regular cake jus a store bought cake I said so I can't order a cake then, then she began yelling at me telling me I don't have to order anything and I can go some place else, when I asked to speak to a manager she hung up, I will never ever order from them again, and I recommend you don't either you won't get the customer service u deserve
