"They have delicious tea - the good kind in the sachets. You can smell each one they have in jars on the counter. Peach Blossom was really good.FYI - they are located inside 222 N. LaSalle, on the Wells Street end."
"I came here initially to walk around the area since I know Chicago Fire was filming that day. I've driven past this coffeehouse previously and it always looked so good and nice to try it. So I ordered a iced matcha latte w/ oat milk and this was pretty good. For its service, I really enjoyed my drink. It was pretty good, and you can watch them make it in person creating your drink. It was pretty strong oat milk taste over the matcha, but I was able to slightly still taste the matcha. I don't remember the menu being super big I think this place had really cute iced cubes, they're cubed and small! I loved the vibe in this coffee roasters and the service was lovely. Spoke to one of the managers for a bit about their business & was very patient and sweet. If I'm around the area again, I'll definitely drop by here again to get another yummy drink!"
"This is an awesome cafe. The vibe is awesome, the staff are friendly, and it's always busy with customers because it's so good. I went on a saturday morning with my sister for some coffee and brunch. They happened to be doing a "pictures with santa" event when we got there which was a funny surprise. We ordered the chorizo avocado toast with egg, which was delicious. They didn't hold back on anything, and there was plenty of chorizo and avocado. We also split the beignets, which came with twelve delicious bite size beignets, enough to take some home. I also tried the lavender coconut latte, which was super delicious with a very natural flavor. Clearly, this place puts a lot of effort into making top quality food and drinks. They are passionate about giving the customers a great culinary experience, in a very chill setting for excellent prices. I would totally come back!"
"Fora has a great high tea service. I went there with a group of girls and the service was exceptional. We were served bubbles and had a pick of tea options. The high tea came with chicken salad sandwiches, shrimp rolls, deviled eggs, macaroons which were so good, couple of pastry options and fruits. The outdoor patio is super cute it is a good spot for celebrations! I would come back again for another round of high tea!"
"Fantastic coffee shop near Avondale right off Milwaukee. Lots of parking on nearby side streets plus right out front. Small shop with just a handful of tables and cute bar height counters looking out the windows. I found it was a great shop to work from because there weren't too many distractions or loud noises, and the music was chill. The staff also couldn't have been kinder and friendlier! Their coffee menu is fairly simple -- why fix what isn't broke? I was planning on trying a toasted marshmallow (!) iced latte until I saw they had a special seasonal drink special: espresso tonic! It was sooo refreshing and delicious. Can't recommend enough!"
"Good small coffee place on Dearborn in South Loop. Hero Coffee Bar is a locally owned shop that has variety on the menu. It's not a big menu, but there's still quite a big though. Classic coffees to choose from. There's also pastries and sandwiches. Came in the morning and it wasn't that busy. It's a small place so it just looks busy if there's a few people in here. There's only a few tables and some seats by the window. Get some of the common coffee types here. Prices aren't that bad for a place like this. It's about $3 for an Americano. Several non dairy milks are available including almond and oat. Also there's food. It's about $8 for a bagel sandwich. Good and healthy. It has the Fig Nut Of Your Imagination. This has almond butter and organic fig nut preserves. Even though it's a small place, it has plenty to get to drink and eat. It has many coffees to choose from. There's also the bagel sandwiches that are okay for vegans and vegetarians."
"Was in Pilsen for a Dia de Las Muertas event at the National Museum of Mexican Art and stopped by to caffeinate beforehand. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the iced vanilla latte was delicious and the food looked good (the carrot cake was calling to me!) Come support this local coffee shop and try it yourself!"
"Stopped by this cute cafe on a Saturday morning before my Pickleball practice. They have a limited but very creative drinks menu. I ordered Thyme is Honey which is a Cinnamon Iced Latte with Almond milk and it was so delicious. It is served in a cute bear plastic bottle that you can take along with you! The aesthetic of this place is modern, chic and classy. They just have undertones of white and gold which looked pretty good. They barely have any food options but a lot of creative drinks with ingredients like Ube or Kachava. Definitely coming back to try more drinks from them. They have a lot of seating space too. I spotted a lot of people just working from the cafe! Good spot in the city to enjoy your coffee and get some work done."

Hidden inside an office tower, this cool, interesting, watehouse-vibe coffee house needs exposure! It's one of five locations but the only one without street access.Trey welcomed me in with happy greetings and remembered my name when I left. In between, he recognized his regular customer and greeted her by her name.In addition to the dacor and his friendliness, the happy groove stereo set the tone as well.I came in for coffee and a bite, and their sandwich menu looks great and the prices are reasonable. Then Trey told me they have breakfast sandwiches all day and they're kind of known for that. I had a Greek fig spread and almond butter PBJ on a freshly toasted, small bakery whole-grain bagel. It was really fantastic, hit the spot and for a very reasonable price downtown. My coffee was a medium roast, with a smooth taste and teeny bit of acidity. Trey began to show me where The Roastery will be inside the shop. I think it will be a great concept. He also explained to me that all of the coffees they sell in bags help a charity of your choice. They have five to choose from. The customer picks the bag representing the charity and the customer picks light medium or dark roast and the grind. Super cool concept. What a great experience in the middle of my super busy workday. I was grateful for this moment in my day.

I stopped into Passion House with the Sweet Potato Cardamom Oat Milk Latte on my mind. Sadly it is only offered in the Winter. The young guy working was so personable and friendly. We chatted and shared stories while he created perfection for me. He also described the new coffee beans they offered with tons of details. I end up getting a simple vanilla latte at the barista's recommendation. It was even better than I expected. I also picked up a Mocha Cardamom Latte for my son. He loved it. He said it tasted like a chocolate gingerbread cookie. I've always loved going to this location. It's bright and cheerful and super clean. I can't wait to return when it's a touch warmer. They open the big garage door, making it nice and breezy inside. I've sat outside too. It's quiet and relaxing. Set back from W Division Street, there's a large parking lot with little activity. It is an excellent, quiet afternoon spot to tuck away with a latte and a pastry. It's perfect for a relaxing moment in the middle of a big city. I highly recommend this beautiful coffee shop for delicious lattes and other beverages, tasty pastries, unique coffee beans for home brewing and wonderful service.

Tasa is such a calming space. Everything is warm and wooden. It's a beautiful coffee shop with plenty of seating available. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the menu, they have a list of classic coffee drinks and a list of seasonal specials. I appreciated that they had a good variety of food options too. I ordered the iced white mocha and beignets. The coffee was very good! Definitely will be back!

If you're reading this review and you're trying to decide if you should stop by here, then the answer is yes! The brunch package is the best deal to get. It comes with a $15 bottomless mimosa upgrade), a starter & an entree. The food was delicious & the mimosas were good! The staff members were amazing shout out to our friend Vasille & our waiter. We've recommended this lowkey spot as a new hit to all of our friends. We will definitely be back with more friends sooner than later.

Great coffee...fabulous decor...flavorful pastries...friendly staff! It's a great place to sit and have coffee or to grab a cup to go. They make authentic drinks...REAL MACCHIATO!!! Although they would make the version if you want. But do the real one.

What a fun local spot! We have been coming here every time we visit the city for years. It has changed in decor and ambience a bit but the flavors and commitment to the community remains solid! The menu and ordering counter are just as you walk in, and there are a few tables but it is a rather narrow spot. They have a bar for seating along the window which is a favorite spot.Their coffee is great and they have a ton of offerings. They also serve vegan donuts which are amazing! Fresh and light which is a fun pairing with various beverages.Their bagel sandwiches are a favorite of my husband so he got a Hippie Bagel Sandwich which was loaded and had the right chew (according to him). I just loved the coffee and enjoyed every last drop. I had one of their seasonal specials which seemed to be pairings of Girl Scout cookie flavors! Fun!Definitely worth checking out if you have never been, and we will return for sure!

We were recently in the area and were looking for good coffee and a yummy breakfast sandwich. We discovered Mandala Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it!The entrance and decor are inviting, colorful, and very inviting! The menu is varied with delicious looking baked goods, a fantastic coffee menu, and plenty of more sandwich/entree related items. While you can ask questions from the incredibly kind staff, the primary means of ordering is a large touch screen menu. So sleek, convenient, and simple! Almost every item has a photo along with its name and description, so it is very helpful for visual learners like me! Prices are great, too!My husband got a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel while I got a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. Both were filling, generous with ingredients, and delicious! They came with side chips, as well!My husband got the Nutella latte and I got the lavender latte. Both were delightfully flavored and hit our coffee spot. The cafe is also a great place to sit and work or catch-up with a friend. The seating area is varied with plenty of spaces to sit. We sat in the window seating and did a little work. The outdoor space looks great for warmer weather, too.We loved our experience at Mandala and we will definitely stop by again next time we are in the neighborhood!

"The cold brew here was solid - probably my favorite cold brew that I've tried in Chicago during this trip. The cold brew was super smooth, and the flavors were fruity and light with a fantastic and lingering after taste. The barista and I had a small conversation about the beans that were used to make it (some of their left over Ethiopian single origin mixed with another, I believe). It was the first drink he recommended after I asked for some suggestions. Most coffee shops just use left over junk coffee beans to make their cold brew (which is often nasty). I'm glad I was able to sample a bit before buying a cup (5.00 for 12 oz, I think).Great place for my friend and me to chill after lunch this Tuesday. There is a good amount of seats here and there were a few people doing work in the shop, too. If I didn't have so many bags of coffee beans already, I definitely would have bought a bag here."
"Great coffee and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend this place! Friendly service."
"I had passed by this shop many times in the past, but today the stars (including a few that normally combine with another word that rhymes with "yucks" and send me to a certain competing chain coffee shop) aligned, and I happened to be in the neighborhood at a time when I really wanted a cup of coffee, so i decided to stop in and give it a try. It took me a moment to spot where to go for a brewed cuppa, as opposed to a bag of beans (which I will have to come back and try another day), but once I was directed to the rear counter, I was promptly greeted by a super friendly barista who poured me an absolutely delicious cup of Sumatra. A large cookie, with an unfamiliar but intriguing-looking label, that turned out to be every bit as delicious as my coffee, completed my order. The pair absolutely hit the spot, and I look forward to my next visit - and there most definitely expect to visit more often. There are several things that compel me to recommend The Coffee & Tea Exchange over that other coffee place whose name rhymes with "car trucks". First is the sheer array of different varieties of coffee beans (not to mention teas) that one can buy. I happen to be a dark roast fan, and I find it frustrating that the selection of dark roasts available in most places is limited to just two or three varieties. The Coffee & Tea Exchange has many on hand, plus many more that aren't dark roast but are surely very tasty and well worth trying. Second, if you wander into a Car Trucks after lunchtime or thereabouts, there is only one kind of brewed coffee available, unless you have time to wait for a pour-over cup. While there is nothing objectionable about that one kind, there's nothing particularly interesting about it, either. It kind of reminds me of the nondescript drink served up by the spaceship computer in "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" with a cheery "Share and enjoy!" But I walked into The Coffee & Tea Exchange after 5:30pm, and they had a dark roast fix to offer me right from the pot, and that pot was fresh. Finally, coffee chains in general offer up an efficient but uniform and boring experience. The Coffee & Tea Exchange, in contrast, has an atmosphere that's friendly, unique, eclectic and a bit rustic. There's an old-school vibe about the shop, with lighting that's a bit subdued but not enough to be depressing or scary, lots of wood, shelves from waist level to ceiling full of coffee and tea, and assorted extras (like the cookie I enjoyed) in the middle that you probably won't find anywhere else. The air in the store is well-permeated with the aroma of fine coffee. It's a warm, cheery place that encourages you to linger, but service is friendly and efficient when you're ready for it.Pay The Coffee & Tea Exchange a visit. I assure you that you'll be glad you did."
"Amazing sourdough cinnamon rolls, amazing coffee, amazing baristas. This place gets really popular for all the remote workers/students as you can see so there's not a lot of places to sit but other than that i cant recommend enough!"
"Walked by and noticed they opened up a Printers row coffee shop in LP. Plenty of street parking near by. The coffee shop itself has a ton of seating - great place for casual meetings or studying. Lady at the front was friendly. They had some quick pastry and savory breakfast bites. We got lattes and they were perfectly made."
"Owner was super nice and friendly!! came here close to them closing and wasn't rushed at all to make a choice and he even brought my dog a pup cup. ambiance is so cozy with nice lighting and good seating for all areas, much larger space than you would think before walking in. will be coming here a lot now that we live in the area"

"I stopped at Verzenay on the way to work because a kouign amann sounded great. I was going to pick up a chai latte there, but happened to see Printer's Row Coffee kiddy-corner from it and figured I'd try theirs instead. Their chai was okay... it wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked so I'd give them another chance if I was around just to see if it was a fluke. It's a bit awkward that you have to tell them how much you want to tip (rather than type it out yourself) on their screen, but I get that it's a COVID precaution so it's ok. Alternatively I suppose you could buy your coffee online. They also have a bunch of other merchandise, like coffee accessories, t-shirts, and so on.I'm really appreciative of their COVID precautions here! Even in May 2022, when almost everywhere else has abandoned COVID mitigation measures, they're keeping them in mind. They have a sign outside the shop that says to wait until you're wave in, and the sign directs you to line up on one side if you're ordering there and another side if you've placed your order online. There are also signs recommending masks and tell you to wait at the decals inside as your item is being made. Thanks for keeping both your staff and your customers safe!"
"Perfectly made cappuccino. Delicious French pastries. Friendly service from an artist. I thought I stepped into Paris. A nice find in The Second City! Bon jour! And, Salut!"
"Coffee is plentiful in Bridgeport. It's got a few to choose from. Bad Owl is bad ass. Great amount of freshly roasted coffee and a light food menu. The prices are okay for an independent coffee place. A kind of big place for as small as it seems to be honest. It's got a few seats inside. They do kind of squish together. Could have room for even more. We got a couple seats at a long table. It's about $5 for a coffee. Thats's pretty typical for such a place like this. Each of us had a Biscoff Latte. Try it especially if you like the cookies, because it's full of these. Cookies in coffee. This is made with the Biscoff cookie butter in addition to cookie crumbles sprinkled on top. For food we got the Vegan Overnight Oats. It's about $6 for a cup of oats mixed with good shit. Filling but light. This had almonds, bananas, chia seeds, coconut, peanut butter, pumpkin flax granola, soy milk, and vanilla. On the rest of the menu there's stuff like sandwiches but this are expensive. Too much for a little. For sure it's not bad. If anything is bad, it's the prices. This is a nice place for hanging out a bit except for there not being enough seats and tables."
"Did a little coffee date with my husband here this morning! This is on the bottom floor of an apartment so we got to see lots of cute dogs come and go. We split the last croissant and had some lattes. Barista was super nice. He did let us know that they were out of the cute little bear bottle but that's ok! I got the thyme is honey latte (decaf), and my husband had a caramel latte with extra caramel and espresso. We both agreed that the croissant was just ok but the lattes were so amazing it totally made up for it. I hate when lattes are watery or the decaf tastes weird, but they were really really good. Didn't have to wait long for them either. And the aesthetic is very fun, love the plants. Glad we came here!"
"The Colectivo has tons of seating and a great ambiance. I would say the drip coffee is just OK, but the coffee drinks are good! The burritos are good, the bowl not so much. My one gripe is that the internet doesn't seem reliable (sometimes it's spotty, sometimes not working at all). It's a shame because I really get in the zone when I work there!"
