"I'm back- the Manzo is still excellent but so is the spicy chicken panini. I ordered first, squeezed in a few golf balls at the range and came back. That's why I didn't complain about the wait this time."
"Located in Roselle across from the train station,Mr A's serves breakfast and lunch all day. Known for their ham, portions are huge and prices are great .Service was very good and the meals were prepared fresh and served hot. Huge menu.Had the Eye Opener Special #1 with 3 eggs, huge slice of grilled ham and American fries with toast. A side of pancakes instead of toast was also an option. They offer skillets, griddle items, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes,Benedicts and eggceptional combos. Noticed many regulars which is always a good sign. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 230pm. Will definately go back maybe for lunch"

"I love the service here. I tried all homemade drink flavors and was not a fan! Tasted like Kool-Aid! The Super Chicken Philly was very mouthwatering and I went back the next day for another one they have a guy here that sale a variety of homemade cakes (Pookie Crack Cake) and they are addicting!"
"Can we taco bout how much I can't wait to come back here LOLLate night taco spot with solid service and solid eats! Staff was all very friendly and everything is made fresh! I love that we can sit right by the grill and watch all the magic happen! Sure the awkward eye contact with the cooks can be strange but it's also oh so fun!Stopped by after a late night DJ set at a club and we were mildly hungry. I had the carne asada steak taco, Al pastor, and the lengua. They did NOT skimp on the meat and flavor. My friend got a tostada with nopales and steak and it was MASSIVE!My other friend got the carne en su jugo soup and it was what dreams are made of! Fried onions and fried bacon thats then grilled with steak then put into a big o bowl with broth and avocado!!! Rich and heavenly...absolute comfort in a bowl! Definitely can't wait to go back!"
"The food is very tasty and good. I usually order the waffles and bacon I don't eat eggs. I have ate this on several occasions."
"Was in the neighborhood visiting a local school and needed coffee to wake up a bit. Saw this pancake house on the corner and decided to have breakfast with my coffee. It was busy but we were warmly greeted and seated immediately (party of 4). My coffee was served right away. Nothing beats a good cup of restaurant coffee! Menu was robust. Wasn't hungry so I went with the lumberjack breakfast. It was enough for two people! Eggs cooked perfectly. Kids had pancakes eggs and bacon. Wife had the chilaquiles skillet. Our server was very polite and attentive. She checked in regularly to top off our drinks. If you're in the neighborhood and need a good hearty breakfast you can't go wrong with the Original Alps!"
"Located in the former Uptown Cafe, Egg House is the newest addition to the Arlington Heights downtown area. On a Sunday morning at 9, it was quite busy, but we were seated immediately. The inside decor is clean and fresh. Our party of four tried a variety of dishes. I had the Egg Florentine Benedict with a side of fresh fruit. The benedicts were very good, and included three eggs. The tomato was fresh and flavorful, and the spinach was also fresh. Others had the Chocolate Chip Banana Swedish pancakes, three beautiful pancakes with lots of bananas and drizzled with chocolate. The steak skillet was in a large skillet topped with several eggs. I ordered tea and was presented with several teas in glass tubes , a nice way to present the selections available. Service was outstanding. Our server was very attentive and coffee refills were offered often. The manager stopped by to check in on us! By the time we left, the line was out the door! We will return to try some of their options."
"Solid food, quick and attentive service, great options for everyone.Wings/burgers were delicious Love the fact that you can mix and match any of the Slider optionsOnly negative thing I have is I wish the hand cut fries were a little more crispy but other than that, everything was Fantastic I will definitely come back"
"If you are in the mood for some tasty eats and light drinks, then this is your place. My party of three ventured her after grabbing cocktails at a nearby bar. I am glad we did because the cocktails at this place are a little pricy. The food was amazing! We order the La manche pasta, octopus, fish, scallops, and steak. Everything was delicious, although I was a little disappointed with the scallops. You paid almost $30 for 3 scallops and some lettuce on a plate. If you are hungry or sharing with more than 3 people, do not get this dish! I would go back for the grilled octopus. It was my favorite."
"This was my first time here and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived around 10:30 and did not have to wait to be seated on a Saturday morning. However, it did fill right up after being seated. Everything on the menu looked amazing and I'll definitely be back to try everything else. The guava nectar was too good! The caribella skilled was good, but could've used some hot sauce of some sort- I did like how they used plantains instead of potatoes. The protein lovers skillet was packed full of several proteins and veggies! The pancakes were okay in my opinion, fluffy but not very flavorful. The wait for food was not too long, but a bit longer due to the space being full of customers. The prices are very affordable too! I would definitely recommend this spot and will be back!"
"This is a really late review, so I'm sure what I have to say echoes so many people's opinions. It was a bit of a trek getting to Roister due to all the construction happening on their street back then. But the food, the vibe, and the top notch service was all worth it.The food was sublime. The dishes were made of ingredients that one would never think could complement each other, but their magical kitchen performs feats of culinary alchemy. Pasta with clams and mint? A chocolate bar made with duck fat? And those oysters that haunt my dreams to this day...I'll never be the same after that meal. When my hubby expressed how big a fan he was of Grant Achatz, the head chef invited him into the kitchen to observe their operations. So he stood there as they prepared dinner for all the diners. That experience is something that he talks about to this day.All in all, we had a wonderful time at Roister, and we will definitely come back to Chicago and plan our vacation around this restaurant. Their food and kindness left lasting memories for our family."

Cute outdoor seating! Make sure you order in the back if you want to eat there, though. The indoor ordering is to-go only. We had fries and soft serve and both were good! I liked the Parmesan mayo and the vanilla flavor in the soft serve was bold.

I have eaten here four times in the last two weeks, so I obviously enjoy it. I had a breakfast burrito once. It was good, but their #1 eggs with ham was my choice the other times. It is hard to beat. The ham slab is the star of the show. It's quite large and delicious. I haven't gotten here for lunch yet, but a friend of mine swears by the split pea soup - again the ham shines through. They even have a sign on the door letting you know that you can buy just the slabs of ham. There must be a story there about where they get these hams. The service is among the best anywhere. Parking is easy. The dining area is roomy and clean.

I can't put into words how I love this place. The tacos, burritos are delicious. Food is fresh and mouthwatering. I can't get enough of the margaritas. I came here alone last year, the I brought my cousin, the my bestie and her husband, then my friend was in town from London. I keep bringing people. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend, if you go, contact me, I wanna enjoy with you.

You want good tacos you go to Pilsen! I've been to a half dozen places here but I really like Coyotes! The carne asada and pollo is perfectly cooked! Standard cilantro and onion perfection. Great service and full belly. They also have the Senorial Sangria I like that not everybody has. Reminds me of eating tacos as a kid at my old friend's family restaurant. I lived in LA 11 years and you can't get much better than that unless you're headed to Mexico. Glad we have Pilsen in Chicago to enjoy some carne asada tacos for days! Gracias

So this little hole in the wall place is a big NO for dining in, but a gigantic YES for breakfast delivery! My adult children are overnight for the Christmas holiday so at 7:26am on a Saturday I made a large order for breakfast -- pancakes, hash browns, grits, bacon, sausage, eggs prepared multiple ways, and a corned beef hash breakfast. The food was picked up by Grubhub at 7:41 -- FIFTEEN MINUTES -- was delivered hot, and we all agreed that it was delicious.

I have been to Egg House restaurants in other locations and I wanted to try their newest restaurant in Arlington Heights. This new location did not disappoint. The new owners made some major renovations including hanging vegetation and a bright new coat of paint. They even brightened up the bathroom, which sorely needed it. I especially enjoyed the heater under the sink. Our server was nice and friendly and checked on us often. I had the chocolate chip bacon pancakes. The pancakes were malty and the bacon was crispy. A win in my book. I highly recommend Egg House in Arlington Heights. I will be coming back to try of their menu.
Visit Restaurant Page"This review is from my visit over Mother's Day in 2023. It was my first visit to this restaurant and I had a good experience. My party and I got here a little after 1 P.M. on Sunday afternoon. Due to Mother's Day, the restaurant was pretty busy, and reservations were not accepted. We had to wait a bit, but a table was about to be open soon. It was a big table for a party of 11 or two groups of up to 11 people. We were asked if that table was okay, or we would prefer to wait for a smaller table because there was a possibility that someone else would share that table with us.We got seated at a large table that is good for communal dining experience. Since my visit was a while ago and I do not have my food photos available to attach to the review, my memory of what all was ordered is a bit sketchy. However, I do remember some of the ordered items, such as a bloody mary, a hazelnut cappuccino, two omlettes (one was veggie and the other was a chorizo one) with pancakes, fried chicken & biscuits with gravy, etc.The food and drinks were good. The portion size was good as well. I had ordered the fried chicken and biscuits with gravy, and it hit the spot. We all enjoyed our meal and received good service. I recommend checking out this nice establishment. It's worth a visit and more."
"I chose this place because it was very close to my spa appointment and I have some time to spare before my spa day. Right when I walked in, you could smell the amazing aromas of the coffee and espresso in here. I ordered a flavored latte and an amazing pastry that I still dream about to this day. The coffee was delicious and the cinnamon sugar croissant was delectable. Great coffee spot!"
"Very very old style Mexican place. This is the place that your parents would bring you on a random Saturday evening. The interior is nothing special so don't go for the vibes. The food portion is great but it also matches the price that you pay. I got a pina colada with alcohol and it was delicious. I def felt the alcohol! I also ordered the Milanese. It was very thin and fried. I enjoyed the rice and beans that came with my order. I would also mention that this place doesn't offer chips and dips when you walk in. My coworker ordered a drink as well and the steak with mole something. I don't remember the name of it but her plate was $30 alone."
"One of the best breakfast spots with that old diner feel. They a little cheap with the drink refills but otherwise they are good. I'll be back even more once that new dealership opens up across the street and I need an oil change."
"This place is great! I've been on a recent search around Chicago to find the most affordable breakfast restaurants amd so far I have found a couple. Breakfast entrees ranging under $10 a plate and it's a damn good meal.My husband actually lured me to this one by saying he was treating his wife to a free meal. Who says no to free food? Not this Yelp Elite! I just wanted the basics - eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. I got mine for about $7 and I was very happy with my meal. Everything was tasty and a good sized portion. Worth every bit of what my husband paid for. We also got a side of pancakes to share which was nice and fluffy and sweet to eat. The servers were very friendly as well and the restaurant was nice and clean. Very inviting. I will definitely add Sunshine Reataurant to my rotation of go to breakfast places in the Chi."
"I heard all great things about Luella's and decided to order recommended items from their menu for lunch today.Parking: Street parking was challenging, however I did find parking 1 block away. The place is fairly small and the place was crowded. Energy in the place was happy and bright. There was a line in front of the register.Tables were for small parties; there was even a table for one (1) at the front window (I will eat at a table for one next time, if needed)Diners looked happy and all the food on the tables looked amazing!Food: I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken with Waffles and the Mac & Cheese. Chicken was perfectly fried, just the right amout of crispiness. I got Nashville hot sauce on the side. Maple syrup comes with waffle. Mac & Cheese was Cheesy and delicious, I saved some Mac & Cheese for later.Thank you, Luella's and friendly staff for a delicious experience! I plan to order every item on your menu. Thanks again!"
"Cash only - tasty eats - good for a stop when passing through but make sure you have money - breakfast was good"
"Fullerton Restaurant is a diner located on the northwest corner of Fullerton and Western. The interior has the look and feel of a diner, with a bunch of booths and a small counter with stools setup. There is a back room that is apparently reserved for larger dining groups that would not fit at a standard booth. My love and I dined here on a recent Saturday afternoon. There was a decent number of customers, but we were happy that no other customers were really close to us during our mealtime. The service was prompt and courteous. The menu is thick with lots of food options, many of which you would expect at a diner. I ordered a reuben sandwich and my love went with a bacon burger. For a slight upcharge (looked like a dollar to $1.50 depending on the menu item) you can make your meal deluxe by adding on a cup of soup and a side of fries which is a pretty decent deal. The reuben was tasty, but the star of the plate was the creamy side of thousand island dressing that I used to dip everything, including the steak fries. The pickle spear was crispy if you like that sort of thing. My love enjoyed her burger and fries. Both of us were full after enjoying our lunch at the Fullerton Restaurant."
"uh... i don't know what happened here. I'm a business owner so I know prices of rent for restaurants have increased since 2019, BUT the prices they're charging are a little crazy. I'm paying $18 pretax for 8 wings. 8 wings people that's highway robbery. How can lamb kabob and chicken wings be same price. They also run out of things pretty quick, so call ahead before coming"
"Tary Coffee House, a recent addition to Chicago's vibrant downtown scene, offers a unique culinary adventure into the heart of Kazakhstan. Stepping inside, the unfamiliar becomes inviting, with a menu boasting an array of coffee, tea, pastries, and hearty meals, all featuring the millet grain known as "tary." Prized for its nutritional value in Kazakh culture, tary boasts a subtle earthiness that adds a distinctive touch to their menu.Baursaq with Irimsik ($13) - My exploration began with the Baursaq with Irimsik, a delightful play on textures. These pillowy-soft dough pockets, reminiscent of Japanese mochi, cradled a mild cottage cheese filling. While the concept was intriguing, the filling lacked a flavor punch, leaving me wanting a bit more oomph.Tary Cappuccino ($7.25) - For a taste of their signature ingredient, I opted for the Tary Cappuccino. This rich and smooth coffee boasted a subtle earthiness and nuttiness imparted by the tary flour. The integration was pleasant, offering a unique twist on the classic beverage.Overall, Tary Coffee House is a commendable effort in introducing Chicago to the fascinating cuisine of Kazakhstan. While it may not be your everyday haunt, it's certainly worth a visit for the unique experience and a chance to explore new cultural flavors. Just be prepared for prices that lean towards the higher end."
"Cool vibe! Very well decorated! We had a party of 6, and our table was very small. Service was okay. It took awhile for drinks to come out. I had the king cake colada drink. This was good! I had the banana foster martini for desert and this was wonderful! For dinner we started with the cod nuggets and I would get these again and again! These were perfection and had a spicy mayo dipping sauce! For my main I had the jambalaya with shrimp. This was fine. It had a strong Cajun flavor and the whole dish just tasted like that. My favorite part was heading downstairs to the speakeasy. A wonderful vibe with the same drinks as upstairs! I would get rid of the tarot card reader, it was 20 seconds and more funny than helpful!"
"What a lovely establishment. I came for dinner on a Thursday night after long day at technology conference. Lucky for me the dinner was a treat by the tech company. This review is based on private service in the rear room. Our party was less than 30. We had two tables and a set 4-course menu. The cocktail and wine menu was expansive here. I ordered a Cosmo and a French 75. Both were great. To accompany my meal, I also had a delightful red wine (Zin). For food we had a bread assortment which was divine. That pretzel bread with goat cheese butter was to dream for. For our second course there was a great burnt watermelon feta tomato salad....yummy. Additionally, there was a a delicious side dish served with main dish. I opted for the flat iron steak which paired nicely with the roasted carrots. I ate all my steak, it was so tender. The 4th course was also great. We had an option for a stone fruit (peaches) dessert and flourless chocolate cake. I picked the flourless cake and it was good but the stone fruit dessert was much better. All-in-all a very great dinner. Ambiance and service were prime here. Our server was so great. I wish I knew his name as he was funny and kept the drinks flowing. Cherry on top of the food it that there is a free parking lot across the street. I will be back."
"After eating breakfast nearby, I hopped on Yelp to find a coffee shop to grab a latte at before walking around the city a bit. Dollop Coffee seems to be located in an apartment building and has a small patio outside. I ordered my go-to, an oat latte. It's a small space inside, I wouldn't recommend this spot for working or studying as it seems like more of a grab and go type vibe. There's a nice fancy lounge area adjacent to the shop but I couldn't tell if it was part of the apartment building itself. My latte was put together quickly, but I was definitely taken aback by the tiny size, especially for $6. By far the most expensive latte I had in all of Chicago. The drink itself was fine, but I would skip this place next time."
"Went back after a rather long time twice in 3 weeks and I will only talk about what is famous at Milk & Honey Cafe. They're absolutely delicious, freshly made bakery items and fantastic coffee. The seasonal bakes never fail to impress me and this time it was an Espresso Chocolate chip scone! Could it get any better?!!! Sigh! I truly savored every crunch and bite and could eat more than 1 scone - it was that good! Customer service is always stellar and quick, though they are so busy. Beautiful outdoor area in good weather and such a modern fashionable crowd! Totally still love the spot!!!"
"If you don't come for anything else, please come for the breakfast potatoes and vibes. I came solo on a weekday afternoon for brunch. There was only one other table of people there when I stopped by, but this place may get more traffic on the weekends. The space is fairly large and can fit both smaller groups and larger ones. I didn't bring my laptop when I came by, but I could totally see myself coming back on a weekday to be productive. I ordered the cajun omelet and breakfast potatoes. The omelet was the perfect size and the ingredients tasted fresh. The breakfast potatoes are different from most others I've had and I really enjoyed them. Great Logan Square area daytime place!"
"Great experience here! Made a reservation online. They offered a ton of traditional Ukrainian dishes, some with a modern twist. We ordered an assortment and shared them.Potato Pancakes 5/5 - super crisp and delicious sauceBorscht- 5/5 not my fav soup but my Ukrainian husband said it was on point Fried dough (idr the name) 5/5 flaky and delicious filling, good sauceChicken Kiev - 4/5 very tasty, just smaller portion than anticipated Mixed party platter - 3/5 some better than others but all very unique! None bad and a cool concept, just enjoy the original better.Service was great. Lots of alcohol options and good vibes/decor inside."
"I've been going here for a little while now, so I guess I can be considered a regular at this point. I'm writing this review now because I feel like their service and quality are high and consistent. I always love finding a great traditional American breakfast place I can frequent. On this trip, I had the country fried chicken with sausage gravy, eggs, pancakes, and grits on the side. The chicken was seasoned very nicely and perfectly cooked to keep it juicy and tender. Their sausage gravy is the best and closest I have had in Chicago, matching what I ate from my southern hometown. The grits and eggs were cooked appropriately as well. Finally, the pancakes were light and fluffy, and they are a side option for most meals on the menu. Other great menu choices are biscuits and gravy, skillets, and waffles. Overall, I will continue to frequent this establishment and can only advise others to do so as well."
"Incredibly kind staff and amazing food! They know how to cook their steak (they will ask you how you want it--I got a delicious and juicy medium rare) and loved the Mexican breakfast items (literally can't go wrong with anything you choose). Refillable coffee service throughout. BYOB for now until they get their liquor license (though there is a BYOB charge that's listed on the menu). They are new and currently have $5 off and free coffee coupons they're giving away. Definitely check this place out. I've come back twice already and will be coming back again soon!"
"I got the Hungry Man - two eggs, bacon, sausage, house potatoes, two pancakes upgraded with cinnamon brown sugar and icing. Friends got Hawaiian roll breakfast slides and eggs Benedict. For the most part, our food was standard diner quality breakfast food which is not a bad thing. Potatoes were soft but not seasoned enough. I don't recommend the Cinnamon bun pancakes. The icing was not even icing. It was a strange, grainy, bland sauce.Service was good. Waiter very nice and engaging. Their prices are very reasonable and probably a dollar or two cheaper than most breakfast places"
"Let me start off by saying this is a 3.5 star review. Tiffany's is a small space, with two tops in the windows, a main bar with bar stools and a few four top tables. It is BYOB and that is amazing to be able to bring my own bubbles. The staff was very friendly and chatting and fun. The physical space was cheery and comfortable. And the food was very good. The Queen loved her steak and eggs, as did I. The waffles were nice and The Doctor loved his omelette. The other folks that were with us got the Sausage and Waffles and the standard Tiffany breakfast...both commented on how good everything was. What was not so good was the service when it came to getting the food to the table. The restaurant wasn't quite at capacity, but was relatively full. We were able to place our order right away, but the food for the table did not come out together. Our friend that ordered the standard breakfast had toast, but that did not come out until he was finished with his meal. He jokingly said that toast is the dessert for breakfast and ate it. Same for The Doctor, the toast and side of bacon came out almost after he was finished with his meal. Not sure how big the kitchen is, but it was clear that they could not keep up with the orders coming in or were not well organized. There were two people who came in after we had placed our order, but got their food well before ours.I would love to come back here to explore the dinner menu as it looks amazing, but guessing I would come when they first open when the kitchen isn't that busy. If that doesn't improve on our next visit, this will definitely turn into one of those places I only do take-out for. Here's hoping second time is a charm."
"Delicious egg and cheese bagels and a cute, clean spot with reasonable prices to boot!"
"Great cozy hidden restaurant, it's small and a local favorite. My first time at location, and it didn't disappoint. My son love the pancakes, and the hash browns they were cooked just like we ask. I tried the meat lovers skillet and added mushrooms to it. The skillet was great comes with two eggs of your choice, and it has potatoes in it already. The skillet is pretty big so come with some appetite, it also comes with a choice of toast or pancakes. The skillet was cooked just perfect, and the coffee was nice an hot. The service was great, our waitress was super nice and friendly."
