Recommend going there for happy hour! The back area has a very laid back and a chill vibe with friends. The happy hour menu had many options; there was good selection of food and drinks. I like the watermelon margarita the best and the wings were a nice sweet and spicy flavor.

Seriously. As a native MIAMIAN. I brought 5 beautiful women there and they said we had to have a reservation at the door. Sir.... You are not that busy! I was so excited to bring professionals to let loose on the DNC weekend... just to say we had to have a reservation at an empty door and empty club.

Bodega is a casual taco joint that doubles as a speakeasy in their back room. With its flagship in Miami, Bodega is a nice addition to the chicago nightlife. I ordered the taco box, which came with two tacos, chips, and guac. The carne asada was very well seasoned, but I was surprised by the texture of the meat. It was chopped much more finely (almost like ground beef) than I'm usually used to. The chips tasted very fresh and had a nice crunch with each bite. We also had a fun time inside their speakeasy. They were playing a mix of hip hop and EDM. Lots of room for seating and space in the middle for dancing. Perfect way to burn off some calories from the tacos.

Super cool hidden gem in Chicago ! I was there for the weekend and I wanted to maximize my visit there ! && bodega was the perfect way to end a Saturday night ! Super fun speakeasy style night club , modern atmosphere and great music ! Look for the hidden door with the rose on it !

Cool place, I liked the music and saxophone nice touch. Would go again and recommend to others.

Food was okay, not bad not exceptionally good. Service was fast and atmosphere was cool. Loud music but good music, reggaeton was played when I was there.

Service is terrible and if we wanted to order dinner good luck. This is my second time and last .

Taco Tuesday was horrible. Cold tortillas and the meat was not good. The service was not was good, we asked for a few things and they never came. BARRIO across the street is WAY better. Prices are similar

The food is amazing - we order from here several times a month. However, our order is nearly always wrong. We ordered tacos tonight - none of which were correct. We ordered extra sauce, none of which was included. This is not the first time this has happened. Great food - but DO NOT expect your order to be correct. Please work on this! So disappointing!

Do not go to Bodega. My girl best friends and I were having a great time, dancing, socializing, buying our own drinks, etc. at one point we were invited to a table. Again, just socializing, having a nice time, buying our own drinks. A girl at the table we were INVITED to said she "didn't like us". Security followed to physically grab us. And not just to remove us from the table, but from the whole bar. Further, the "security guard" said "I could have been way more aggressive with you when throwing you out" Again, we were invited to a table, and one female did not like our presence, and I guess that makes it valid for us to be physically not just removed from the table that we were invited to, but thrown out of the bar. This bar is not it, and on our way out talking to the other employees of this bar, they were not even concerned about this harsh experience. Genuinely concerned about this place, a man "manhandled" a woman and when asked why he did it he said "because that woman did not like you" BOOO do not go here if you want to have a good time.
