Our workplace catered from here today for an assortment of sandwiches and salads. Timeliness: 5 starsFood quality: 5 starsDessert taste: 3 stars (the brownies had an off flavor to them, the cookies were great)Meals came with sweet and unsweetened tea, the salad was very creative filled with sweet corn kernels and chickpeas! The dressing was VERY innovative (tomato basil dressing!) garlic mayo, marinara dip with the sandwiches.The ham, chicken and turkey sandwiches were perfect but the sandwich that shined the chef's creativity was the vegetarian. Did they slap in cheese and tomato and lettuce and call it a day? Heck no! They roasted red yellow and orange peppers thinly sliced, then roasted eggplants, zucchini, green peppers, onions, and cheese and made it sit inside of a beautiful soft bread. So much care to roast every ingredient separately to the point that not a single sandwich had any soggy-dreaded moisture.Excellent meal!

I have ordered corporate catering fromChef Mario's for YEARS. They always impress my meeting groups and their vegetarian(!) sweet potato burritos LITERALLY recently got me a round of applause from my team. The food is amazing, fresh, always well-balanced, and the menu combinations are practically endless! Holly and the team take special care to make sure all dietary restrictions and allergies are considered and noted on the pretty menu they print for you. They set everything up (they even bring ice for the drinks and don't just leave it in a bag on your counter) so if you're busy and always ordering lunch, you can NOT go wrong with them. Everyone is super nice and attentive to your needs. I cannot recommend them enough. I, and everyone I order for, just loves Chef Mario's!The apple Betty desserts are NOT. TO. BE. MISSED!! Salads are always colorful (that means they're better for you!) and the dressings are so good. Beef Asian noodles are my favorite thing they make (they're called something more specific on the menu... slips my mind at the moment)Order from them and receive compliments on your catering choice. They'll have your team members singing your praises for sure!

Had the keto Sunshine Tilapia tonight. Heated it up in the oven on parchment paper. Inverted the container so the cauliflower rice was on top. Might have been the best tilapia I've ever had!

We love Chef Mario!!I cannot say enough great things about Chef Mario, both the catering service as well as the breakfast/lunch counter located on Wycliff. The food is outstanding and the service is true perfection!Chef's wife is bubbly, fun, and full of great suggestions to create the perfect catering menu for any event. Every appetizer, entree and dessert is prepared with care by the Chef and his staff. Unique flavors and ingredients are used that will absolutely knock your socks off!All details are monitored with great precision, right down to the color of the linens in comparison to the presentation of the food. The staff are professional and friendly.The breakfast/lunch counter features many scrumptious Chef's specials with really great prices. It's a perfect destination for a break from the office with coworkers.Chef Mario has received a ton of local awards, all of them well deserved! They also have a heart for hunger relief and are tremendous supporters of our local Food Bank.I could gush about Chef Mario for days. Really great people with true culinary talent!

A delightful hidden gem, with freshly prepared local and in-season ingredients. Friendly staff and they cater!:)

My 1st experience if Chef Mario's catering was amazing at a holistic health lunch event. Today's food vegan food that was some of the most flavorful I have had. In includes a Vegan Shepard's Pie, delicious seasoned grilled chicken and a very tasty herb vinaigrette salad dressing. Darcy Brennan the General Manger & Owner served and talked to us about the products.

Excellent home delivery and pick up meals. We have tried Factor and another local meal delivery service without satisfaction. Chef Mario's meal are by far tastier. By far. And they are so friendly!

Don't let the name fool you. Chef Mario's is the best kept secret in Raleigh. Fresh cooked meals made from locally sourced ingredients when possible. You order by Sunday evening and pick up (or get delivery on Wed/Thursday). You can order as many or as few as you want. Keto-Paleo- GF and Veg options. I don't cook and these meals are lifesaving. Great prices too- shop locally everyone. We need these folks around for the long term!

We were visiting Cotton Inc for Company Training this past week and Chef Mario catered the entire week. The food was amazing! We had Shrimp and Grits to Box Lunches. At first I was skeptical about the box lunches but I must say, it was the best box lunch I have ever had. The Garlic Mayo was amazing. His desserts were scrumptious! I also loved his descriptions of the food, very funny. If you are in the Raleigh NC area he is a must have for catering service. Well done Chef!Foodiecute

You really cannot go wrong with Chef Mario's. We use Chef Mario's frequently to cater business meetings. The food is outstanding! The service is exceptional! It is obvious that Chef truly cares about quality. We have never had a meal that we didn't enjoy. If you want to impress your guests, book Chef Mario's!! Bon apetit.
