Chayns Night club

What a blast from the past!! How did we not know about this spot 10 years ago??If you love 80's & 90's top 40 hits and don't mind the possibility of a little 2nd hand smoke, this dance club is definitely worth checking out. No cover before 10p is a nice plus too.

Always a solid place to hang out on the weekend. No drama, good music, and good people. Oh and they don't charge you an arm and a leg for drinks! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cool. Now if you don't like people smoking around you this is NOT the place for you. But if you don't mind then this is a cool hang out.

From what the staff told me, this club has been here for I believe they said 30+ years. The first thing I noticed that this was maybe one of the first clubs that was very clean and well-maintained. The crowd was a bit older, probably in their 50s and 60s, and everybody was very respectful. They served food, the drinks were fairly priced, and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The only thing I didn't really like is the smoking inside of the club. I'm not a big fan of indoor smoking let alone secondhand smoking.

I been going since they change owner in 2018 and I love going to chayns no drama everyone is mature so yes there is a dress code which I think is great keeps the club looking nice and decent. I have met so many awesome ppl here, plus good drinks and food for a Decent price.I'm a 80s baby I love that they play music from when I was growing up bring back memories and some new music. Very diverse crowd I have gone for Latin Thursdays, fridays and Saturdays and I love love it is the place to be.

Chayns is the best nightclub in Houston! People are so good there and all are so trustworthy... I can leave my iPhone on the bar go dance 2 or 3 songs come back and my ph is there.. it is my home away from home! Armando is a great guy as is everyone who works there. Thank you for making me feel lo

I have been coming to Chayns for well over 20 years! Great music, friendly and accommodating staff and great bartenders. The music is great and the drinks are good and not too pricey. The crowd is always good and mature. You can dance and have a great time. I have celebrated many occasions here and will continue! Oh and please try the famous fries! They are delicious!!

Been coming here off and on for 40 years and it is a very unique club. Older crowd with a dress code to keep out the rift raf and SMOKING is allowed so for those of you who complain about that there are 99 percent clubs that do NOT allow smoking so please go there! In the 90s this place was a great hook up place and no need for the internet dating sites. Service and music is still great.

We stopped in to celebrate a friends birthday. It was fun. The drinks were good and the food was good. The staff was very friendly. It is an older crowd but very friendly. There was no drama or anyone trying to act tough. The music was okay but the DJ gave us variety. We were celebrating as a group so we had fun and made the best of it. The only thing I would complain about would be the smoking. People do smoke inside and it was annoying because I am not a smoker. I would go back with my friends

Lame sorry music. DJ asked for tip money in order to play a request song. He did not even have trendy music on his DJ playlist. Not a place I recommend.
