Convenient location on White Oak, people are nice but space is tight. Not much room for liquor samplings. Not much for snacks either. It's good in a pinch.

The first question that popped into my head when I walked into this store was "How many times has this place been robbed?" There wasn't a single bottle of alcohol less than a liter in arms length. The "small items" were behind this wall of plexiglas. Now, the store clerk was pretty friendly (been there for 15 years) and they had what we came there for, so it served its purpose. Plus, it's one street over from where I live and relatively close to some BYOB restaurants in the neighborhood. I will come again when in another time crunch or too lazy to drive over to Spec's. As far as selection goes, it was pretty bare minimal, but had the mere necessities to make a decent liquored refreshment.

this liquor store looks like it's straight out of compton. metal bars on the windows and doors. all the liquor is behind plexi (bulletproof?) including the counter and cash register. but it's a mom and pop place so i'd rather come here than go down the street to valero to buy beer. the selection isn't great. actually nothing about this place is great. you can find all your standard liquors, but probably no dice on the superfancy or obscure ones. the wine selection is just atrocious. the only questions are: red or white? ernest & julio gallo, turning leaf, or franzia? hmm.... if you're buying fruit juice mixers, wipe off the dust first and check for an expiration date. this place is really convenient if you live in the neighborhood. if you didn't live nearby, i don't know why else you would go there.

Small neighborhood store with a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor. In the time i was in the store, everyone that walked in were greeted by their names or with familiarity. Most importantly, the prices are not marked up ridiculously...even for the harder to find or allocated bottles. They even have random barrel picks, which is always interesting and different. David was friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable! He even had tasting notes for a bottle I asked about and ended up purchasing. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Enjoy!

The location of this liquor store is so damn convenient. However, it is very easy to miss since it's just a white building. It looks small on the outside, but once you're inside, the selection is endless. There were a couple of reviews from 10+ years ago stating it had a limited selection of liquor necessities and was hesitant visiting. I went and for the past couple years their selection has grown so much! It's a bit cramped and seems like a maze walking through the store, but I enjoy finding new liquor each time! They also sell some cigars, nothing too fancy but still amazing. No cheese/sampling here, but I'd rather buy that at H‑E‑B. It's a family runned business and the cashier there is super friendly and will help you out. If he doesn't have it in stock, he'll try to add it to his inventory! Definitely recommend this place than specs.COVID-19: Mask is enforced. Definitely seen a couple of Karen's get kicked out for trying to go in w/o a mask. Good job on this business.

Don't let the outside fool you! This is a fantastic neighborhood liquor store. The owner is so friendly and helpful. He gives great recommendations and genuinely seems interested in helping!! Once I was there and a woman came in and it seemed she had forgotten her wallet the previous day so she was coming back a day later to pay. That's what I love about small businesses! def couldn't do that at specs. I also love that it's walking distance from where I live. I only wish the parking was a lil easier but it's no prob if you walk.

Store does look kinda of old outside. But once you go inside the workers are friendly and really helpful. Especially a lady name Tina with her brother named Ho. These people are helpful on helping you choose a liquor and wine. Plus it look like a family business So I would rather support it then Spec's Liquor. Selection is nice for a small store. The wine selection is OK but liquor is good for the size of the store. Also the cigarettes are cheaper then onion creek.
