Chapleton Vineyards

I visited the Chapleton Vineyard with my family over the Christmas holiday. It is a beautiful drive from Houston and not too far out. The vineyard sits low off of the road so you can get a Birds Eye view of it all. Texas wine is not at the top of my list but Wine itself is, the plus to Chapleton is they source grapes from various parts of the world and then process them in house. That was interesting to see. If you are ever in the mood to do a quick and peaceful drive go to Chapleton.

In the enchanting Texas hills, a sanctuary of opulence awaited my presence--a luxury winery unlike any other in Texas. The symphony of flavors that graced my lips, the culinary delights that danced on my palate, and the ambiance that enveloped me in its embrace were nothing short of extraordinary. The vineyard's splendor unfurled before me, a tapestry of beauty and serenity, inviting a tranquil escape. If you love wine and a great wine experience, this is a must visit.

The service is always great. The wine is also great Laid back atmosphere Chicken pasta- the sauce was very runny so it really didn't stick to the pasta 8/10Charcuterie Board- for how much they are charging it definitely can be better. The cheese is very basic, not good quality. The crackers are the same...very basic. The meat is okay but again...very basic. This is not worth $50 3/10

Our family visited this winery on our day out to Chappell Hill. We were very disappointed with the atmosphere, as the staff was rude and didn't seem enthusiastic about even visiting with us. We were also very disappointed with the price of the tasting and they didn't offer wine by the glass. Between the prices and the lack of service, we left and will not return.

Beautiful view and gorgeous winery! Great service, great wine, great food. A wonderful experience. Definitely a MUST VISIT. Need I say more?

Although the Vineyard is really nice, it could've used more weight staff out front and for what you got the price's were extremely high. And for the wine tasting I thought $75 per person was a little bit much when you were not able to pick the wine you wanted to taste.

Jonathan is absolutely amazing! The food and wine were also good. We did the signature tasting with the small charcuterie board and the caprese skewers. Food was delicious.

We just visited today ( we live in sugar land ). The place is outstanding w great wines. Truly fortunate to have this new winery in the brenham / chapel hill / Washington area.
