Wonderful! The owner is very kind and knowledgeable about seafood and everything he has is super fresh. We got the crab cakes and they were delish and his tartar sauce is out of this world!

First time there, bought crab cakes. Very good, owner added his homemade romulade sauce.Definately worth a repeat.

So says they close at 7. Apparently they didn't tell the rude kid who pretty much rejected me and turned me away promptly. It's currently 6:10 pm.

The most fresh red snapper we've had. Brought to us with friendly and unsurpassed service. Our dinner was second to none, amazing.

Picked up these beauties today! The team and the quality of product at Champions Seafood Market are top notch. I've learned a lot about seafood and how to prepare it from them. I won't buy my seafood anywhere else!

I have been craving king crab legs and it's been hard to find a nice selection of crab that's not in a box or been frozen forever in the grocery store. I found the secret spot! For ever fish you are looking for including my favorite red snapper, which nobody has! The king crab legs were perfect and exactly what I was looking for!!! The store is clean, the owner is stupendous and very knowledgeable and passionate about his seafood, huge plus!! If your looking for fresh seafood, look no further! They also have fresh crab cakes which I had to grab a couple to try and a great selection of crab dips. Just try it! You won't be disappointed!

The best fresh seafood in the area. I love all the options he has to chose from. If you check out his Facebook page he will post what he has in fresh. Lou has awesome advise if you are unsure of how to prepare a dish.

We lived in south Louisiana before we moved to Houston and there was always fresh seafood. Whether it was a relative, a neighbor, or a friend, someone was always going fishing in the Gulf. Always bringing home flounder, redfish, and if we were lucky, shrimp right off the boat. There were even people selling fresh shrimp from ice chests on the street. We've never been able to duplicate the freshness in Houston. That is, until yesterday when we stumbled across Champions Seafood Market. Lou ( the owner) was super friendly. We bought a few pounds of fresh off the boat shrimp and while he was wrapping it up, he told us he spent many years in Baltimore as a seafood distributor and made his own crab cakes the way he had them in Baltimore. Not much better on a nice fall day than a Maryland crab cake and I bought three plus his remoulade. I cooked the crab cakes tonight and they were so good, it was almost like sitting on the Inner Harbor on a cool night. If you get a chance, go tell Lou "hi" and buy some seafood - for sure buy a few crab cakes. You won't be disappointed.

First time and won't be the last. All his fish and shrimp are fresh with no fishy smell. The guy that help us was AMAZING great attitude very knowledgeable and WONDERFUL customer service. Customer service was everything and it is now my place to buy my seafood part of the family now.

Great place!! Always so nice and accommodating! I had to drive back to OKLAHOMA from this Houston location and they rigged me up a way for my fresh oysters to stay alive for the entire 7 hour drive. Amazing!!!
