Champion Pizza

I went for the first time yesterday. It's one of the best pizza experiences I've ever had. Service was fast and professional. The ingredients tasted fresh. There was enough sauce evenly spread throughout the pizza dough, which seems like a challenge for a lot of pizza makers around here. I'm a pretty harsh food critic so it was a pleasure to find something that met all my expectations. Also the two liter of Sprite I ordered was literally ice cold, which was much appreciated. The pizza tasted like it was made with love. Thank you!

Not good. Not good at all. Hardly any sauce. Overpriced even with inflation. Better choices in area.

So I turn onto rampart Street from Westpark and about a quarter mile down the road is an unassuming strip mall and sitting in the middle is Champion Pizza.Walk in and it was a one man show this afternoon. The gentleman greeted me with a smile and my pizza was ready and waiting just out the oven. I explained this was my first time over here, new to Houston, trying to find my go to pizza spot...I'll spare you any further delay, I think I found it!!!I ordered a large sausage and pepperoni, can't mess that up. I come from the NE and have had plenty of the best pizza in the country in NY & NJ. I'm from the Chesapeake Bay region, and this is the closest thing I've had to my favorite 3 Brothers Pizza back home. The sauce is savory not sweet, the Italian sausage is on point, the pepperoni is good, cheese is better than expected (got some great cheese pulls) and the crust .You wanna talk about a diamond in the rough. I imagine the area has impacted the ratings but you're not dining in so the ratings here should be solely based on the food. I only had pizza, I would give this a 4.5. Customer Service was outstanding, I should have got the guys name, he knows how to make a solid pizza. I also got a look at the kitchen/prep area and it looked very clean and organized. They have been going since 2001 so they are doing something right, they have a new loyal customer I would have posted the pizza but it's gone

I'm new to Houston and found an app that helps locate local pizzerias. I decided to order from this place and OMG, it's delicious. The crust crust too thin or too fluffy. The ingredients are fresh. I would've given them a full 5 Stars, but my cheesecake didn't come with strawberries. Which made me sad, but whatever, the pizza was bomb.

Champion pizza is always yummy! They deliver fast and have great prices and coupons. Last time I ordered, it was a family meal deal consisting of their XXL pizza and wings but I overlooked that there was a 2nd pizza included. They called me to ask what I wanted for the large 2 topping pizza. How honest was that? Most places would have ignored my stupidity! Thank you Champion!

TL;DR - Pizza taste fine but poor online order comprehension and customer service needs work. REALLY specify how you want your pizza in the Special Instructions box to be safe.Ordered online from Menufy for a friend who was having a bad day. Got the special, which was a cheese pizza with 3 toppings. I ordered a Jumbo and selected "2nd half" for all 3 toppings; basically cheese 1 side, toppings the other. Pizza arrived to their place but the driver I guess couldn't find the entrance cause they called me asking if there was a gate so my friend had to go down and get the pizza. Upon return, the pizza was discovered to not be as I ordered. It had the toppings over the whole pizza. It was specifically requested of me to order it as stated above.I called them and they offered to replace it with another Jumbo at full price and then an offer of a Medium cheese for $8 which would act as the "1st half" part of what the Jumbo was supposed to be; only cheese. In addition to another 30-40 minute wait time again I'd assume. In short, they didn't know if they should leave the 1st half just only cheese and the other half with toppings. Even though this is exactly what I selected online. So rather than CALL to confirm, they just went and topped the whole pizza instead. This was in no way my mistake and I've never had a company unable to figure out a 1st half and 2nd half situation like this.I conversed with my friend and they suggested I just try and get a refund. So, I called back and now I'm being offered the medium cheese for free. I'm just frustrated at this point and just want a refund. They say it was an online order so it's out of their hands. So, now I'm going back and forth with Menufy. Don't know if I'll be ordering from them again without some sort of assurance this won't happen again.

Trying to get out of my pizza comfort zone, I searched for another pizza place near the galleria that would deliver. I came upon Champion. The free delivery charge was appreciated. I ordered a medium pizza. I wish they had a regular Deluxe pizza, because the additional toppings that probably made it a "SUPER" deluxe - I dont like. So, I got pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, spinach, jalapenos, and garlic. The pizza is mediocre. It's cheesy, saucy, and the crust is good. The delivery guy had no cheese, or peppers - which I would think would be standard take-out supplies he should always carry on him. Overall, I'm not super impressed. If I HAD TO eat from here again - I wouldn't put up a fight, but I wont be voluntarily returning any time soon, either...

Worst service ever! First time customer wanted to try this pizza because of the 4 starts reviews Let's start with that i ordered the pizza through the Yelp app for delivery the pizza supposed to be at my house within 45-60 min (which is still a long time on Sunday afternoon) the delivery guy got here after almost 90 min! For pizza! And I called twice to check on itAnyway we got the pizza but guess what.. WRONG PIZZA!! Wouldn't recommend

I don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews because it's delicious! I'm usually a deluxe pizza person but their pepperoni is fantastic! Also try the fettuccine.

We ordered this for the first time tonight. We had a pepperoni with garlic pizza and it was perfect! Also, we ordered the Buffalo wings- great too! This will now be a go to for our "pizza Sundays"!
