If you're looking for a dive in Clear Lake -- you've found it. The location of the place isn't great and it's actually a little hard to find unless you know where Molly's is (since it's right next door). There's really not too much to say about the place -- it's dark and old and a little dirty as any good dive should be, but not so dirty that I was afraid to touch anything. They have a decent bar and an OK beer selection and the bartenders were friendly enough. I don't recall seeing a patio area unless there was one out back though.

Walked in hoping to find a new bar ever since the Sherlocks closed down. Well we can cross this one off the list. The bar wasn't crowded yet somehow my girlfriend and I stood there for 10min trying to get drinks. The bartender was slow and preoccupied giving one guy different samples of beers at one point... (I know what I want just take my money wtf is so hard about that?) So we just gave up and left. Not a penny spent in this place. Molly's right next to it is bleh too just avoid this whole area.

Basically a neighborhood dive bar. Molly's next-door (also owned by the same company) is better. They have a small pool table and Juke box. $2.50 Call Its on Thursday night.

For a dive bar it isn't bad. I really only gave it 3 stars because there's no darts and nothing else to occupy your time. Only a couple of coin op pool tables and a digital jukebox that could use more options. But it's ok. There's Guinness on tap and your other standards. A couple of crafts in bottles. They could stand to do better there. Maybe some seasonals. Seems like everyone goes to Molly's. I'm not one for crowds so this place was cool for me. Avery was friendly and handled her business as bartender. No real complaints. But I was only ordering beer and I don't need much. Hung out, played pool, drank my ipa. Oh and had pizza delivered. What more do you want?

All i know is that if i wanted to have a successful business i would see what works and go with it. There was a time when Thursday and Cellars were a good pair, but it rapidily declined. the drink special is good so ppl come to the bar and dont worry about waiting a few minutes to get the bartenders attention but when you are being patient its nice to be rewarded with a good drink which the lack, so bc you make your drink price cheap i have to get less portion? the drinks got weaker and weaker as time progressed. ppl started noticing and the crowds stopped coming. I'll say this i would be a loyal thirsty thursday customer if they just did business better. the bartenders want to make all the money they can so they dont want anymore help but the crowd pays for that and so does there tips. stupid business.

Very laid back place to have a cocktail. Two pool tables not like next door at Mollys only dart boards. The same owner owns both establishments and also third base down the street.

The smell.... It's so unbearable. It smells like someone vomited Yeager and they never cleaned it up. The bartender was sweet, the drinks were good, and the patio was alright. The smell was just seriously disgusting. It was extremely difficult to get past.

So the only reason I gave this place 5 stars is because I love the bartender Nikki, she's the best!! Nikki knows how to make my mixed drinks just how I like them and my bf his shots how he likes!! The bar is so chill and laid back just how we like!!! We will continue to visit this bar as long as Nikki is here!!!

Long live the dive bar, dammit! Ok, well that's not totally fair. This is more the neighborhood joint. Awesome incredible staff, crazy relaxed, excellent drinks and a perfect indoor outdoor venue. They write songs about places like this! I love it here.

The patio in the back is about the only positive thing I have to say about the place. If by "dive" you mean a sorta' dirty, sorta' cheap looking, sorta' only looking for the community bicycle .... then yep, it's a dive. Unlike Catbird's (the only per se "dive" I have ever made repeat visits to) which is fun and has interesting/friendly/nice people, this place attracts sort of a who's-who of scumbags and people you generally do not want to be associated with: known wife-beaters, delinquent child support payors, patheti-sad people in their 40s still reveling in how cool they were in high school, and alcoholics that have just recently given up on even doing laundry once a month to have a shirt clean enough to make an appearance over at Molly's.It is depressing in the bad way - and bars are supposed to be happy places. That is why the patio is the only good thing - get away from the zombie horde inside and seek refuge with whoever you managed to drag here (because they probably did not know better.)If you think of Moe's Tavern from the Simpsons, the prototypical episodes where a bunch of old fat men depressingly drink in silence, as a totally sweet bar - then you would like this place.
