CAVA

Cava has been open for a few months now. Initially, I was disappointed because I really liked the place it replaced. Finally, I decided to pop in and try it out, and I'm so glad I did! This place has a clean crisp Mediterranean vibe. They have pitas and bowls, and you can build your own or select one of the chef-curated options. They have a great variety of bases (greens and grains) as well as some unique protein and topping choices. Be warned that the Harissa Honey Chicken is spicy...much more hot that sweet. A lot of the fast casual spots offer the same type of food so it was nice to see this fresh healthy take on what's available!

This is a great place to grab a quick healthy meal with great Mediterranean flavors. You can eat in or order online. Online orders are easy. The restaurant is simple in decor and always clean. Food is tasty and delicious. The last few visits we have had staff who are training so the orders have been a bit off. But not enough to stop us from eating here. It has become our fast food go to. Staff are always friendly. I particularly like that the food options are well labeled so you can check easily if you have a food allergy. This is really helpful!!!

The food is okay (but overpriced, though I guess most places are anymore).Just do not order delivery from their website. Order through DoorDash if you must, because at least then you can contact Doordash through the app when you have an issue.Back in January, I ordered fairly early on a weekday (a little after 5:00), hoping for a quick dinner before having to go out for an appointment. I don't know if the problem was with the Doordash driver or with the restaurant themselves, but my order was 1) ready late, 2) then took a huge detour out of the way before finally getting back to me. Needless to say, the food was a cold soggy mess by the time it was delivered, over 45 minutes later than the last (usually overestimated) delivery time. The restaurant being about 5 minutes from my house (I know, I know, why did I order delivery instead of pickup? Sue me, I needed to get ready before leaving the house. Next time, I will spend the 12 minutes to pick it up myself...)I'm not usually a complainer, and on another day would probably have let it slide, but the fact that I specifically ordered from this close, fast casual restaurant so I could eat earlier and not have to waste time cooking... Honestly, I was angry. So I called the support number associated with the online order, complained and was offered a 40% refund. Which, frankly, is pretty poor appeasement, but I figured it was better than nothing, so I agreed to it. I get an email saying that it would be credited back to me within 10-12 business days.13 business days go by, no refund. So I call again. They apologize about the missing refund, promise to initiate the refund again. Another email. Another 12 business days. This time, they say 10-12 business days and I would get an email in 1-3 days following up. No email, no refund. It's been 3 months, and I guess I just have to give up, which is infuriating. But I will never order from CAVA, obviously.And I strongly recommend no one else does either. They do not care about the quality of their food or service... Typical chain garbage with no oversight, staffed by undertrained and overworked people.

Cava is truly one of my favorite places to get food anywhere I can find a location.The concept is a lot like Chipotle with tons of toppings food combinations without charging a fortune for each added ingredient.If you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free, there are mood food options here than almost any other place out there. The flavors available are fantasticI'm a big fan of their app for ordering ahead of time. You can also really explore the menu this way without holding up a line of people behind you like one would in-person.Today's entree was a build-your-own bowl saffron rice, falafel, harissa, Persian cucumber, tomato + cucumber, fire roasted corn, pickled onion, kalamata olives, pita crisps, lemon herb tahini, and skhug.So good. It tastes amazing. There should be a CAVA in every town. Thanks for being awesome.

First of all, the food is pretty good, a lot of customizations for any bowl; all the ingredients are fresh; portions are large and taste good. The pita chips are especially good.Now the not so good part, as others have mentioned, the online/app order is not up to the standard. I placed the order around 11:50am for a 12:15pm pick up. Got there by 12:15 and it's not even started yet. Not that they are that busy, there are just couple tables seated and 2-3 people waiting inline. Long story short, I didn't get my order until 12;35 or so and in between, at least 10 walk ins get their orders made. The strange thing is they have 2 people in the front take care of walk ins and 1 in the back does all the online ordering (and she keeps on going out to get the ingredients), very inefficient and apparently not really care about the scheduled time at all. Also, even though I asked for utensils and two side of pita, only 1 side of pita was given and no utensil at all.

We always crave good Mediterranean food but there aren't many available near Royersford - Collegeville area. But Cava has turned out to be great. Ambiance is like any other Chipotle or Moe's and gives you that Halal guys feel.Food although a little on the costly side tastes great.Falafel were great and had the right crispiness.Spicy chicken pita was the best, not too spicy for us but had a slight kick to it.We will be back for the lamb soon.Also, they did make a mistake on our order's payment which we realized after we brought our take out home but they were quick to fix it over the phone.

Food is great service is usually trash though. And if you order ahead you will wait. I have gone here on multiple occasions and there have been many times my order was incorrect or just not ready and waiting 10-15 mins after i set a pickup time. Highly frustrating because i do love the place just can't go here on lunch break because i can't risk being late because cava workers aren't doing their jobs correctly.

Great food and great service! The employees were extra helpful since it was only the second time I was there. Will definitely be back!

My daughter and I just went to Cava for the first time. We were so excited and heard such great things. As I ate my bowl I found a chunk of chicken bone. It was the size of an olive and looked much like a piece of chicken. I'm not sure what to do or what to say. I'm so grossed out, and almost broke my tooth. Beware!!

the staff is so nice!!! great food choices. very clean. The girl who helped me was so sweet and amazing
