Inside.
So glad that they have Apricot Kernels, and Roasted Chickpeas in the bulk section. Both are delicious snacks.
Fresh pistachios with the skin! Peel the skin to reveal the shell and nut. The skin is citrusy and can be zested.
Hummus
Meat section
Nice Turkish coffee and Persian tea sets here.

My favorite desserts! Always good!
"Gaz", Persian pistachio nougat. Very good! I dare you to have just one! They're more thick than Western "Divinity."
Sweets: pastries, cookies, cakes.
Olives, cheeses, and yogurt. The Lebni is a must try, it's yogurt that is thicker than Greek yogurt. The Bulgarian feta is also good.
Trays of freshly made goodies
Packaged Baklavas and treats that I keep in the pantry for friends and family when they have an unannounced visit.
Dried rose buds, and dried orange peels in the spice section.
"Ghreibeh", Middle Eastern shortbread cookies with pistachios, hard to find in the valley. Should have a warning label: "highly addictive."

Staff were so friendly and helpful! The store was clean. Items were clearly priced and organized. There were fruits and veggies. Deli cases with prepared foods and bakery items. They even had honey with the comb. Yum. Try the Persian baklava--heaven. The hummus and tabbouleh were delicious. The fried eggplant was fresh and very good. Pita is available in the freezer. Also--parking was plentiful and just steps away.

I really love this Persian Market, it has really unique foods on the shelves and it's great place to buy lamb and goat at a reasonable price. The store is efficiently run and if you get lost or need help finding things the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been coming here off and on for about 3 years. It is relatively small store with a lot of produce in it. They have a small butcher shop in the back of the store and they cook food in house. Also there is a bakery in the front where they sell fresh pita bread and classic Persian desserts and treats. The store can get crowed in the afternoon and parking is very limited. It's basically a three in one parking lot. Because you have the Persian room next door and the Black Bear Diner across the lot. Worst case you park in the Black Bear Diner lot. Overall this is really cool Persian market in the north Scottsdale area.

I stopped in today, as I happened upon this store and wanted to see what it was about. Staff here are genuinely really nice and their selection of goods was fabulous! I came in towards the end of the day, so there wasn't any fresh bread or much left in the deli case. I was thrilled to find items in store that I haven't been able to find since I was overseas, I will definitely be back.

Great market. Fabulous authentic nuts and snacks. BUT their hours are not updated. We've gone a few times when Yelp says they should be open to find them closed.

The Caspian Sea is to the North of Iran, so Persian imports are mainly what you'll find here though there's some items from other nearby countries. Major points to pricing, their prices are incredibly reasonable! I usually get Lebni (Persian yogurt) it's thicker than Greek yogurt because it's extra strained so there's even less liquid. I love it with raw honey. I also get the Bulgarian Feta which is creamier than Greek Feta, and their bread made in-house. Sometimes I'll grab some Gaz (Persian pistachio nougat) or Ghreibeh (shortbread cookies with pistachio), and Persian melons (similar to cantaloupe). They also carry Kalamata olives, cheese from different countries, Turkish coffee sets, Persian tea sets, spices, sweets, pastries, a deli, and more.

Rarely leave one star reviews but here it goes. Stopped by this store and bought a few items including a rice cooker. The lady at the front told me she recommended the bigger size so I switched to the bigger size. Brought it home and tried to cook rice with it only to realize that as the rice was cooking the lid was loose and broken. Brought the rice cooker back only for the lady to tell us it will not be replaced or refunded. Blame myself given the state of the box the rice cooker even came in. Leaving this to say get groceries from them maybe? But do NOT buy any appliances from them.

We love shopping here for desserts and treats to share with family and friends. It's also a great place to search your favorites while waiting for your reservation to be ready at the Persian Room. They have considerable ingredients to make your favorites that hard to find in regular store.

I'm so happy Caspian exists! As an Iranian who just moved to Arizona, I feel like I've found a tiny piece of home here. The people making purchases regarded the cashier like they were friends, so I can tell it's a tightknit local store. They have everything you could want for Iranian cuisine, from doogh to kookoo sabzi to torshi to barbari to spices to paneer. The prices of everything - besides saffron, of course - were incredibly cheap. For example, I saw a box of honeycomb for $10, whereas the same size elsewhere is double. They have premade stuff for meals, like ghormeh sabzi, in addition to all the ingredients you could need. I walked out with some feta cheese, liquid saffron, and sangak, and I can't wait to go back and pick some more things. I can tell I'll be purchasing everything they sell over time!
