Cascadas Mexican Grill & Bar

I'm being generous with three stars as it was a half hour before closing and perhaps this is not the standard. First, the service was, shall we say reluctant? It was close to closing but not that close. Two other customers came in later and were still at that table when we left so haughty was a waste. The food too felt very end of the day. The queso was thick and a bit grainy and featured a solid film on top. The chimichanga was resplendent with fajita meat but it was dry and tired. The restaurant itself was a bit tired. Too many good Mexican places to return.

Great food and service. Clean environment and attentive staff. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Came here for a lunch break with my parents and significant other. I felt like the food was good,but the music was too loud we couldnt hear the waitstaff over the radio and the mask. We only saw her twice and we were wondering if she forgot about us,so really the 3 stars is for service. We were the only ones in the restaurant and we were seated against the wall,so i don't know how we were forgotten. My Dad did not like the sopapillas because there was no honey,only whipped cream.

I totally understand and agree with gratuity for larger parties (we had 7 people), however- DO NOT GIVE THE CUSTOMER THE CHECK AND THEN CHARGE THEIR CARD A HIGHER AMOUNT and then print a new check that reflects gratuity was added after you took their credit card. This very dishonest and sneaky. We split our bill 3 ways so my initial check showed around $44 and the credit card receipt I got back was for over $50

Excellent Texmex food and service. Been visiting here for 5 years. My favorite for the Spring area. Frozen Margaritas are perfect...not too sweet and great buzz from the Jumbo. Great bang for the buck. *Don't confuse this restaurant with the Cascados on Cypresswood and 45 ...not the same food.

Come on guys.... Your food is good but the fresh sewage smell as you walk in is not.... Had to go to the patio to eat... wash your floors in the kitchen and squeegee the water to the drain... somewhere sewage gasses are rising up and out , this is 2024 not 1794

Food was delicious and they didn't skimp on the food and sides. We ordered the "Cascadas Especial" serves 4. The portion was enough to feed more than that. We will definitely order from here again. The churro beans were a hit.

Food was actually really good. Portion's where way beyond what I normally expected, and the service was prompt.
