This is a beautiful spot, right on the bay in Edgewater. But this is also a very mediocre clip joint that overcharges for a bad buffet, adds on a full throated service charge (for a buffet), and charges $30 more on Saturday than the weekdays, and $20 more than that, for good measure, on Sunday. That means it's $89 for banquet food on the second floor of a big hotel's dreary attached mall. Yes, it's pretty and on the bay. There's no signage, by the way, and parking brings you up another $12 with validation. So what do you get? Chafing dishes filled with forgettable choices, like soggy braised ribs labeled bbq but not, mahi fingers, a paella with thinly sliced calamari and a few mussels and large, beautiful, but overcooked prawns (that are a lot of work to peel) in a vat of yellow rice that had the consistency of oatmeal. The pixanha was ok. The cold seafood pokes and ceviches were ok, neither good nor bad. There was a sushi area but no one making them and a few sad little pieces that looked unwrapped from a supermarket. The breakfast items were in a chafing dish if oversalted eggs, bacon and sausage, and these chicken waffle popsicles that were dried out McNuggets. The key lime pie and flan were nice. The cut up fresh pineapple and strawberries were fine. The servers were polite and came by for drinks and water. At this price there should have been an omelet station and someone making the sushi to order. The pity here is that a lot of reasonably good provisions were prepared in a very mediocre way in a very pretty setting, but there are way too many other choices in South Florida to ever return here.

We visited this place while in Miami, and I wish I had paid attention to the reviews. Despite the pleasant balcony and good vibes, the food and service were disappointing. The fish was overcooked, and the lobster was rubbery. The prices were high, which didn't match the quality of the food. Service was slow, surprisingly so given that only three tables were occupied. On a positive note, the tuna tartare and octopus were quite good, and the bay view during dinner was lovely.

I hadn't been to Casablanca on the bay for brunch in a while and the food definitely didn't disappoint as remembered! The open buffet has several options and carving stations. Sushi bar. Taco station. Raw seafood station. Chicken and waffles. The whole carved salmon was amazing. The grouper soup was delicious. Crab potato salad, prawn cocktail, and the seafood paella were also some of my favorites. I absolutely went back for seconds! And of course I always opt for patio seating for the water view and ambiance. After we finished eating, the bottomless drinks kept coming as we sat at chatted. Our server was wonderful and attentive. Which always adds to an experience for me.

I came here for a Miami spice month . The service was good but the food was okay . I had the beef tostones . They tasted Kim's of soggy and wet . I wasn't a fan ... I had the salmon which was a 3 out of 5 . Not the Best But not the worst . My friend loved it though so it's just preference. She had a friend snapper which I thought was delicious. For dessert we had the key lime pie and the chocolate turn over . Both desserts were amazing . Overall the food in my opinion wasn't anything special compared to other seafood spots I've been too.

Went to Casablanca on the bay for a family dinner and it was great! Very nice views, good service and the food was good! The restaurant itself is a bit outdated but that didn't take away fro nether experience.

Casablanca on the Bay is my go-to spot for brunch! Whether it's a date, a gathering with friends, or a family outing, this place never disappoints. The brunch special, featuring an all-you-can-eat and drink seafood buffet for two hours, is an absolute winner. The drinks are fantastic, and they keep them flowing, adding to the lively atmosphere. Last year, I had the pleasure of attending their phenomenal wine tasting event, which I hope becomes an annual tradition. However, the one downside is the absence of oysters from their brunch special, which used to be a highlight. Nevertheless, the service is consistently great, and you can enjoy a nice view of the bay from the terrace, making Casablanca on the Bay a top choice for a delicious meal and a great time.
