Casa Nueva Mexican Restaurant

This has been our go-to Mexican spot for 10 years. I was surprised to see I had not written a review before. We're typically in about once a month and have never had a bad experience. It's not flasyy or upscale but is comfortable, clean and very consistent. The servers are generally excellent and prompt. The menus features a pretty solid list of the standards as well as house specials. Among out favorites is the El Refu fajitas, which complement a nice mixture of grilled meat and shrimp with plenty of veggies. This gives all the flavor of fajitas without feeling completely bloated from too much meat. Their spinach enchiladas also stand out, as do the chicken Diablo and the carnitas plate. Their loaded nachos are great as a starter or an entre. Several rooms for seating, and of these the bar can be a bit noisy on a busy evening. They have a nice shared outside patio out front as well.

It is our new "go to" place for a home cooked meal. We have seen this restaurant for years but never stopped to check it out. We were looking for quick hot meal on the way to our evening plans and wee decided to try it out. We have since returned 3 additional times and have door dashed out meal! We love it!! Food is authentic and fairly priced. We have tried the pork chops, fajitas and carnitas. Pork chop slightly salty, but nothing a side of avocado can't take of. The salsa is warm just like mom and grandma used to make at home.We have tried the Top Shelf margarita, half frozen/half rocks...very tasty! Love the family environment and 2 separate bars with a space that can be rented out. The service is timely and friendly service. You will not be disappointed .. you will be asking yourself, pappasitos who?? Lupe tortilla's who???

"BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION at CASA NUEVA"My Wife and I went to Spring Texas for the "Wet Your Whistle Wednesday" August Birthday Party at Casa Nueva Mexican Restaurant to Celebrate Birthdays of Mary Ann & Earl, Jean, David, Al and my Wife. 'WYWW' Group has been gathering weekly for over 6 years now and it's always fun to Celebrate Birthdays. We arrived a little early and were the first ones there but in about 2 minutes some of the others started arriving - soon the back room was one big party. The Birthday Cards are out for everyone to sign and the Casa Crew has set up the tables.Mary has been our main server for several years and knows what everyone is drinking - her and her helpers cater to everyones needs. Warm Chips with Red & Green Sauces are on the tables for our enjoyment and these are always Delicious. Mary brought our drinks over to us, a Miller Lite with a glass of Ice for my Wife and I'm having a Large Frozen Margarita. Casa makes Great Tasting Drinks and these hit the spot. All of us chatted for a while before taking a seat and ordering our food. We toasted to the Birthday People and then looked over the Menu trying to decide what Deliciousness to order. My Wife is going with one of her Favorites, "Spinach Enchiladas" (ala carte); Two Spinach & Chicken Enchiladas covered in a Creamy Mushroom Sauce with Monterey Jack Cheese & American Cheese. I am having one of my Favorites, "Chile Relleno" (ala carte); One Poblano Pepper stuffed with Beef or Chicken (chose Chicken), topped with Red Sauce & Monterey Jack Cheese. Right after everyone ordered, David Dodd, our Favorite Photographer, took our traditional Group Photo with the Birthday People in the Front Row. This only took a couple of trys to get the Photo Shot 'Just-Right' and then we all went back to enjoy the evening. Soon the food is served and those Spinach Enchiladas look Delicious as does the Chile Relleno. The Chefs at Casa always have a Beautiful Presentation of their Deliciousness of every dish - nicely done. The Spinach Enchiladas are CreamyLiciousness and the Chile Relleno is what it's always been - One of my Favorite Dishes - love the Freshness of the Poblano Pepper and this one is Very Spicy. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and soon after we all finished the Cupcakes were served and we sang Happy Birthday to all the Birthday People with Wayne performing on the Guitar. We also were served some Ice Cream Sandwiches to go with the Cupcakes - now that's how to Celebrate. Happy Birthday Y'all. When everyone was finished we still hung around for some time and looked over the 'Wet Your Whistle Wednesday' Albums I been posting in since the beginning. There are lots of Celebrations in there and lots of memories. It was great seeing everyone again. My Wife and I had a lot of fun and Casa Nueva serves the Best Drinks, Best Food and provides the Best Service around. Check'em out on Facebook and On-Line. Just stopped in to waste and hour...first time in and I have to say I was really impressed. Atmosphere was nice, happy hour prices were great, cool decor and friendly service. Far from my house but I will be stopping in when I'm in the area!

This is a solid and very affordable Mexican spot in Spring, Texas. The portions are very generous! I enjoyed my enchiladas verdes. The sauce was delicious and they were generous with the cheese. My michelada paired well with my meal and I devoured the chips & salsa. My friends were impressed by their orders as well!

We had staff lunch on Friday 3-22-24 ,I asked twice for green salsa and with that I will not return!

Plenty of parking in shared lot with strip mall. Place looks recently remodeled, fresh and bright colors and plenty of tables.Greeted quickly and seated and staff was friendly and service great.I would call this a affordable Mexican restaurant. I ordered fajita flautas $12.99 and everything was fresh, hot and tasted good.The menu has a lot of choices you can't go wrong trying this place.Will return for sure..

This is one of my favorite places. The drinks are on point, and the food is delicious. This is one of my go-to places for Mexican food. The place is clean and the service is wonderful. This is in my top 5 of favorites.

Came here on a Sunday night. It wasn't that packed. Service was good & the food came out fast. The street tacos were good & I was pleased with them. I also got the mango chamoy margarita & it was delicious!
