Taco Tuesdays give me the joy of finding places in this city to try their tacos. After being here a few times, they deserve their props for having some amazing tacos at a very favorable price. The barbacoa, pastor, carne guisada, and fajitas are my order. All tasty and perfect texture of juicy and succulence. And the tortillas held up nicely to support the proteins and toppings. It's the authentic Latino/latina way to do it. The menu has other Mexican cuisine that looks appetizing so I may check that out for the future. They also serve breakfast too which is a killer since Texans love their breakfast. Considered a "hole in the wall", it looks that way. But looks are deceiving as we all know too well. That's why we YELP about it right!?

Someone recommended this place and said they are known for their barbacoa and carne guisada. That got my attention. Tonight, I decided to check them out. They did not disappoint. This place is great! We had a delicious meal here. Barbacoa tacos, green salsa with a nice slow burn, crispy beef tacos, chicken torta, rice, and refried beans were all excellent. Can't wait to go back and try the carne guisada. Their desserts looked tempting as well. You should try them. There's a reason they've been around for a few decades.

I wanted to try some authentic Mexican cuisine and this place hit all the stops. From the on set, the green and red salsa were full of flavor and Mexican spices while washing it down with a Mexican Coke. For the main, it was enchiladas. The gravy that topped the enchiladas had lots of love in from whom ever made it. The dish comes with 4 enchiladas, topped with sauce and white cheese. Lots of cheese. On the side was rice and beans. The beans needed a little more salt though. Overall the value l, taste and authenticity was exactly what I've come to live about Houston restaurants. The dish cost 9.99. Try to beat that!

Looks like it's been here forever. The salsa's they serve are really good. I think I ate the entire bottle of the green one. Those taco's though were delicious . My husband didn't give me a taste of the flautas, so I guess they were pretty tasty. The carne guisada lacked flavor though, but put enough of green sauce on it and was still delicious.

The place is run down as hell and the floors, doors, and walls are rotting. they have not updated this building in who knows how long. My parents used to bring me here a kid but i couldn't remember if it was good or not. Our waitress was amazing, so i'm not saying that service is a problem. the food was just awful. The salsa was a 10/10 and i'd probably come back JUST for that. But the food was not seasoned well, the steak was tough, and everything else was bland. 2 stars for the food, 1 star for salsa. Ended up paying $15 for this huge plate of food including tip, but I should've just gone to whataburger with it instead.

Great hole in the wall for Texmex but not as heavy as typical texmex places. I had enchiladas and my wife had chicken fajitas; both really good but the chicken seemed more stir fried than grilled. I loved the green salsa they provided - really tasty and spicy. I'd definitely come again regularly.

Not to be confused with Cashier De Leon, which is the person working the register.Just in casa you haven't had good Mexican in Houston, try this. This is one of the better late night Mexican options in town, and it's hard not to love it. I've been coming here for a long time, and I like to do my little Mexican dance here when I'm here, with some of the great music (such as Selena Q and Los Angeles Azules) available on the jukebox. It's definitely one of the better places around for late-night Mexican food. and they were very friendly and kind enough to serve me very late at night, which I very much appreciated.Houston definitely has some of the best Mexican food imaginable, and this is one of many great places. I expect that I'll be coming here many times in the future and I'm looking forward to it.

Although we got our order almost completely wrong due to communication issues, the food was as authentic as it gets. Staff is accommodating and you'd get a full experience!

Hands down my family's favorite place for authentic Mexican food! It's a hole in the wall place with incredibly friendly service. My go-to's the el pastor tacos and they load heavily on onions, cilantro, and limes on the side which I appreciate. Their green sauce is also deceptively spicy and the chips when dining in are always an additional plus

This is our go to breakfast taco spot in Spring Branch! The tortillas are delicious, and everything tastes great whether you eat in or take out! We've had potato, bacon, chorizo, egg & cheese, and the Mexican egg tacos. They are all delicious! The green salsa is pretty spicy, but 100% worth it!
