Carroll's Giant Burger

There's not a more classic diner to grab ANY meal at than Carroll's! I am not sure when Carroll's was opened, but it was quite a long time ago! I hope they don't go anywhere soon!!!

Great home style burger, as always. Beats any chain joint burger by a mile. Builder my is run down, but the folks are nice and the food is good.

The service was good, and the staff was nice. The food was average at best. Given the "mom & pop" feel of this restaurant, I was expecting steak cut fries with the combo, but I completely missed the easy to miss sign on the door saying "...thick cut fries available upon request"...oh well.‍The restaurant is in DESPERATE NEED of a DEEP and THOROUGH cleaning. Look at the picture of the soda fountain area. See the base of the counter & the floor? As a former restaurant/retail manager, I can tell you that is YEARS of dirt & buildup. We tried this place because we wanted to, but we enjoyed the pretty scenery on the route to get here more than the food.

Hole in the wall, I mean HOLE in the wall place that serves up a really nice basic burger. After visiting the St Francis Wolf Sanctuary, we were feeling a bit peckish so drove around Navasota until I spied this place. Order at the counter, our food was up pretty quickly. Thin patty that was seasoned lightly with crisp veggies & wonderfully crunchy pickles. The bun was fresh & lightly toasted. I opted for tater tots which were very crunchy on the outside with a soft potato-ey inside. Served hot & fresh. Place is clean, staff nice.

I mean I guess, This place okay if there's nothings else around... one thing that annoys me is they use American sliced cheese to top your fries if you ask for cheesy French fries ‍ as for its aesthetic there is non!

Was a little afraid of how big the burger would be but was a normal size. Tasty and good fries and lots of other choices. Stopped heading to Houston. Sometimes you just want a different burger than fast food places. This place was fast too.

Food is good and worth the stop. Just don't use the bathroom. The burgers are delicious and the fries have a crispy coating on them that make them delicious. The sweet tea is really good.

Best $ 10 I've spent on a double meat / double cheese with jalapeños combo with a drink and fries...I've had in a really long time.Old school burger joint - not fancy but almost perfect at the same time.Loved the different salts and sauces at the table.I'll be back for sure.

Good burger and fries. Friendly service in a very casual setting- nothing fancy. I wasn't looking for anything fancy anyway.
