I DIDNT KNOW CARRABAS HAD A DRESS CODE ???????If it does let me know because these hostess they have at this location decide to have one the day I went , saying I couldn't come in with a sleeveless shirt. I gave the place one star because they lied to me well and told me they would bring and give me a shirt but after about twenty minutes of waiting we decided they didn't want us there. I think this was a discrimination thing but I don't want to think that because I don't take discrimination lightly.

My family and I dined in today for Mother's Day at Carrabba's Kirby location which is our favorite restaurant and only location that we go to for more than 20 yrs. My wife had switched her Amex credit card to a different product and had left over points in which she decided to put some of them on a gift card. One of the choices Amex gave her was Carrabba's Italian Grill gift card. She selected that since we are frequent diners there. She was asked if she wanted digital card or hard copy, she selected digital so that it doesn't get lost in the mail ... it was $25. So, after our meal today, we put the printout of the digital card along with our credit card. The waiter (Jeff) came back and said that he could not accept digital gift card and their restaurant only accepts hard copy gift cards. We were honestly shocked. He said his 'manager' would not authorize using this. We had a guest with us at our table and we did feel like arguing/making a scene, so we just paid and left. Seriously disappointed as this doesn't make sense in today's technology where everything is digital. If Carrabba's does not accept digital then this should be made clear to companies like Amex so that customers are aware if this restaurant is selected, they must opt for hard copy! We saw Johnny as we were walking out and we chatted with him as we usually do ... it was very busy in the restaurant given the occasion and decided to write an email to [email protected] instead of telling him in person. We always see him at that location and we will tell him again what happened this time. I know he won't be happy to hear it.

Carrabba's - The Original on Kirby is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. In my opinion, it is one of the best restaurants in Houston. Carrabba's is the most consistent restaurant I've ever been to. I've been eating at Carrabba's since I was 7, and the food has remained remarkable till this day. The service is always great! Some of the servers have been there for years, and it's so nice to see familiar faces. They have since redecorated the restaurant, and they have expanded the patio and dining area. The cozy, homey yet elegant feel still remains. My favorite meal right now is the stuffed shrimp with fettuccine Alfredo. Regardless, I love trying anything new at Carrabba's.

Some of my favorite entrees from this place are the cappelletti, lasagna, angel hair pescatore and meat sauce dishes. I ordered the Lasagna and as usual it was rich without being too greasy, very well-balanced in ingredient proportions, good quality and very delicious. The pasta itself was tender, while the sauce was bold in tomato vibes and the cheese was very sharp in a positive way. Great, friendly service again.

I came here tonight with a group of 10 people to celebrate the end of our marathon training. A reservation was made for 7:30 and we were seated At approximately 7:45. I realized that I actually have been to Carrabas in Webster but this was my first time at the original location. It had a nice ambiance, with semi dimLighting. Our waiter took Great care of us (ugh I wish I remembered his name!) I ordered the seafood ravioli which I believe o got at the Webster location as well but this one definitely tasted better. It was a good size portion With a generous amount of seafood. I didn't order anything else but it seemed like most people in my party enjoyed their meals. Overall it was a pretty nice evening out work friends.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Houston I've tried. They are always consistent the pasta is freshly made for the dishes. Food is always flavored well and the service is always good. I still have many more items on the menu to try to enjoy. I don't live close by but when I want good Italian this is my good to restaurant. Always, I just love seeing the owner Mrs. Carrabba's greet all the guest. The ambience is casual and good for business lunch, etc which is usually when I dine here. The decor is cozy kind have that old word Italian but updated and have nice romantic booths for a date night or Girls Night Out. If you haven't really keep this place in mind next time you want Italian fare.

Fantastica!!! Food made con Amore!! I just love this original Carrabba's. It never falters. It's Restaurant Month and of course they are participating. Our lunch was so delicious and the House Vino was on point. Our service was a pretty young lady. I believe her name was Kaylain. Great service. She's was wonderful. Always a pleasure to dine here at Carrabba's! And can't don't forget, you can get your car hand washed while you dine! Perfecto!!!! I'll be back soon!!

We swung by for a large group birthday dinner this weekend. Although we had reservations, we had to wait quite a bit to get served. Thankfully, they had spots at the bar open for us to get drinks while we waited.I got the Houston Restaurant's week special of 3 courses: bruschetta, Parmesan salad, and Marsala with spinach fettuccini. It was well worth $39 because I left full and satisfied with leftovers.Other folks at the table got the seafood pasta (tends to be a hit or miss- was a hit this time), linguine positano - one of the few things you can have if you're dairy free, and variations of the HRW special.

I love Carrabba's and this will always be my go-to restaurant when I crave Italian food. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. An added bonus - I was able to sit a few tables away from the Carrabba's family as they dined in their own restaurant for lunch. They were humble and kind people and I'm glad I chose to visit today.

Oh boy, hold onto your taste buds, because Carrabba's - The Original is like a flavor carnival for your mouth! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the aromas of Italy and the promise of culinary adventure.First off, let's talk about those sauces. I'm convinced they must have a secret sauce wizard hidden in the kitchen because every sauce is like a work of art in a bowl. I'd bathe in that marinara if I could, but I won't, because that would be weird... right? And don't even get me started on the seafood, which tastes like it was just plucked from the ocean and perfectly seasoned. Fresh, succulent, and swimming in flavor (pun absolutely intended). But it's not just about the food, oh no. The atmosphere is as warm and inviting as your grandma's kitchen (if your grandma was a master chef, that is). The staff? They're helpful in ensuring your dining experience is equally as awesome as the food.If authentic super delicious Italian food is your thing, you'll want to return over and over, and often too. Buon appetito!
