Great brewery tour! A few friends and I showed up at the weekly tour time, and we were given (free!) beer and an informative tour. I tried everything they had on tap - Oktoberfest, IPA, Pale Ale, Nut Brown Ale, Hop Roar IPA, and an anniversary Belgian IPA. All of the beers were great, but the Hop Roar really stood out. From what I heard today's tour was the last of the free tours, due to the impending opening of an on-site tap room. I'll certainly be back to check that out!

CBC has been under new ownership for a while now and I do not like the new logo. It went from being a lion with all it takes is a liver and a dream to a bird with Carolina to the bone. It makes me think of a biker bar. I also heard that they were no longer going to make my favorite beers which makes me sad. It's no longer one of my breweries that I frequent but check them out if you want to attend for the below. Wednesday - Run Club at 6:30, do a run around the business parkThursday - Thirsty Thursday, all pints are $1 offFriday and Saturday - Food Trucks

I hate their new logo. CBC was bought out in the last year and things have changed, I'm told. The fruit punch sour I tasted was gross. It was not sour, didn't taste of anything fruity, and left a weird aftertaste. I opted for a half pour of their summer wheat which was average. There's a nice outside patio which is needed because there is not a ton of indoor seating. Apparently you can get food delivered via drone here, so that was interesting to watch.

We were visiting our daughter who just moved to NC a few months ago. Turns out this brewery is so close to her new place we just had to try it. We are so glad we did! Don't miss this brewery for the friendliest bartender (more of a beer mixologist!) and best brown ale you will ever have!

Not the worst place to grab a pint. The largest thing hurting the tasting room is the location. You are not going to stumble upon CBC. You have to be looking for it to find it. The tasting room is small though nice. I liked the look of the reclaimed wood used to build their menu. As far as the beer, the important part, CBC makes good beer. Their Brown Ale is as good as anyone else makes and they have a decent variety of other beers to choose from. A destination this is not but if you are in Holly Springs it's worth the short drive.

Tours are free and are offered at 1 pm on Saturdays. They no longer offer the free beer tasting, so make sure you arrive early and grab yourself a brew before the tour starts. I can't remember the name of the beer I tried but it was the Belgian one with about 9%. Comparable to Deirium Tremens, but better tasting. Tip - if you download the Stealz app, you can get a free beer glass!

I have been looking forward to visiting Carolina Brewing Company after having stalked several of their beers and loved them. The "popular" spots in Holly Springs are pretty condensed, so if you're visiting the town, you're probably close to this brewery and should definitely give it a whirl. Although the location itself is a little odd, in an industrial spot which you might have to make a few u-turns to get to, there's free parking and it's quiet. Walking in, the tap room is small, but very clean cut, modern and inviting. You're immediately greeted by tap handles and current draft listings. Most pints $4-$5.50 (occasionally they'll sneak one in for $3 or $6) and they typically have a nitro option on tap. I love the tiny patio area (although only two picnic tables) off to the right of the taproom, a little country feeling with the tall trees and industrial buildings around, but hey, you are in Holly Springs! They do offer FREE 30ish minute brewery tours at 1pm and 4pm on Saturday's and are rumored to have free tastings as well, although we didn't participate in the tour. Overall, for the scene in Holly Springs, Carolina Brewing Company is my top choice, I like the atmosphere and could even be the decrease in babies in dogs (although I think both are accepted). If you're looking for a noisier, more family friendly spot, check out Bombshell, but if you're here for the beer and a quieter more mature atmosphere, Carolina is the way to go. P.S. definitely try their Hop Roar and whatever they have on tap that's Nitro, you'll quickly be in love.

I enjoy frequenting this place but wish the employees would stop vaping in the bar. It's a no smoking venue which includes vaping. For some reason they disregard the restriction and could care less about its affect on it's customers.

Extremely disappointed. We went to their anniversary tonight. Bartender short poured ours and many other pints. We will not be going back if this is how they do business! Many other better breweries around who do not short change your drink.
