Carl's BBQ

Was put on hold 2 times by rude lady. When ordering she wouldnt substitute a dish. We dont eat pork. So when asked she said no. I was so appauled with her rudeness. If u want business from other people be more versatile to others. This is 2021.

The employees are very friendly and the ribs are the best item IMO. However I've also bought their burgers and fried sandwich and those are amazing as well. Hometown hospitality and even better food.

I've been eating here a couple times a week for many years and it's always good. All the people there are super friendly and although it gets really busy at meal time, the wait is never more than a few minutes and there's always plenty of seating available because the back room is huge. I have had all the specials, except for fish and they were all delicious. The fried okra is crispy, never greasy, and the green beans taste great. The chicken fried chicken is my favorite dish.

Breakfast here is awesome the omelet I got was huge and very delicious it had everything on it. You won't go away hungry.The service was great my coffee was never empty, I will definitely visit again my new favorite breakfast spot.It is very quiet and nice there were only a few families enjoying a Saturday morning breakfast.

Stopped off here on a road trip. It's a nice and simple hole in the wall that does a decent selection. I'm no barbecue connoisseur but I thought the food was tasty enough and inoffensive. The place does the job it intends for when you're on the go and is a sure safe bet. Be warned though, the restaurant does close at 2pm most days, I happened to visit probably 20-15 minutes before closing (without checking closing time) though credit to the staff, I didn't feel rushed and pressured whilst I was eating so close to closing, nor did they even mention how close closing time was before ordering. The pricing leans more to the moderate end, but my friend who was with me said that's more typical pricing for barbecue and that the quality here justified the price so this is a solid 3.5-4* place, a safe bet.

I still enjoy BBQ here Hamburgers ive eaten here. Chickenfried steak i most recently have eaten was excellent.

Carl's is the best Texas BBQ I've eaten. The service is always good. It's the thing I miss most about no longer living in Cypress.

Stopped in while visiting a supplier in Waller. Tasteful decor with Texas theme and good smells, however chicken had no flavor and brisket was average. Expectations in this area are high and Carl's falls short. Good people tho!

Outrageously expensive. The staff is friendly, the owner sits up front and scowls at her customers.

OMG... I ordered brisket, sausage, cabbage, mac and cheese with a small peach cobbler. The brisket was dry and cabbage tasted like it had just been boiled with no seasoning. The peach cobbler's homemade crust was over cooked and I could taste the salt that had not been blended in the crust. The only thing good thing was the mac and cheese and my ice tea. If I could give them a negative -1 I would.
