Caprese Trattoria

Happy hour is the only time I'd return here for discounted apps and cocktails. Jason, my server was superb. Friendly banter, fast response, accurate. Negroni Ferrari cocktail was spot on and and excellent pairing with Fiore Di Zucca (mozzarella stuffed fried squash blossoms). Menu claims "Lightly Fried." No, no they were certainly NOT: Sadly Fiore Di Zucca were Deeply Fried, heavy batter, and greasy. Not good, and unexpected as a "House Specialty?" Lose a star.Dog friendly patio was great ambiance. No music?

We just had one of the worst dining experiences here. We were a 6 top with a reservation, celebrating a college graduate, and got told not once but by two different staff (waitress and hostess) that we needed to leave so they could seat their 12 top waiting in the lobby. We had only been seated for 1.5 hours at this time and had already gotten the check. We were getting ready to leave and this is so unnecessary and rude given that they overbooked their restaurant. Also the pasta is mediocre at best.

Our family has been coming to Caprese consistently over the last few years. It's a solid, dependable good Italian experience. Service is typically good. The kids love their pastas. I enjoy the chicken and veal dishes. My wife swears their Torta Cioccolato is the best dessert in town. I just wish they had a good steak. Please, somebody in Longmont, how about serving up a good ribeye???

Went on a Thursday at 5:30 it was completely packed but we were able to get bar seating. The food was overall pretty good but the crust didn't taste homemade. The margarita pizza was good and I would get that again. The Caesar salad pizza was good but I thought that the chicken was over cooked even though the charred flavor was good. The cannoli was good but a bit sweet. I did like the presentation of it though. The service was quick and friendly.

This is a little hidden gem. Went for dinner sat at the bar. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I got the gnocchi which was great. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. They also have Tv at bar so you can enjoy whatever game Is playing. I noticed a Happy Hour Menu but not sure about it as we got there after happy hour. If you looking for some good Italian food check this place out. The picture is cheesy garlic gnocchi it was amazing.

I was able to make reservations online via OpenTable very easy and we were seated right away when we arrived for Sunday dinner. Our waitress Maria explained the menu well and was very attentive and nice. We ordered the Tortellini and Chicken risotto to share between the 2 of us. The portions are larger so we couldn't finish the dishes and took some home. They were very tasty. Prices were ok for the larger portions. I would go back if I'm in the area.

Absolutely delicious! I got homemade pasta with bolognese & hubs got spaghetti carbonara. Just delicious. The bread is great too and I loved the pesto it came with. Great meal!

ETA: my husband and I eat here a couple times a month. We get the same thing nearly every time. The Chicken Parm - you can get not breaded. The chicken is so tender - but the secret is in the SAUCE!!! Their red sauce - makes me want to lick my plate! We ask for a side to dip our bread in. The parm comes with a little fettuccini Alfredo - so delish.

True lack of professional service. Both the host and the waitress, Maggie, were unprofessional and acted like they couldn't be bothered with anything. In welcomed contrast, the guy that brought out my crab cake was wonderful.Crab cake and asparagus were delicious, the garlic mashed potatoes were ok, but the chicken was disappointing. My friends and I have eaten here several times, and it seems to have gone down hill unfortunately.

Great Service! Food is good and if good quality! Have a snack before you come though. The portions are like ordering off if a kids menu at adult prices.... The lasagna is not traditional lasagna, very odd but flavorful bowl entree.
