I ordered the fish and chips. It was tasty and not greasy. Lots of breading. Coleslaw was delicious. Our server was in point, and the manager stopped by to check on things. Host could have been friendlier, but was not rude. .5 for food for service

This was my first time eating at a Cape Fear Seafood. This was a spur of the moment decision and it was a good one. The dining facility was impeccably clean. Our server, Alex C, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The freshness and quality of the food exceeded my expectations. I had the clam chowder and shrimp and grits. The shrimp was very clean tasting, with no metallic tri-poly-phosphate flavor. My mother had the fish and chips, which was an enormous portion. Easily could be a shared plate, and my daughter had the shrimp scampi, which was noted as best she's ever had. Kudos to the CFS team.

Came here with a group and got the fish and chips lunch plate. It came with coleslaw (very mayo-based, not relish-y) and I got tartar sauce on the side. The fries were seasoned nicely and the fish were nice, thick fillets that were cooked perfectly. The batter was nice. Our server was great. Others in my group got the Wednesday drink special, a pretty pineapple sangria with white wine - they all said they loved it. While they did have TVs at the bar, overall it wasn't loud at all. I'd go back.

If you want a quick bite to eat on a Saturday in Wake Forest and love seafood, you must go to Cape Fear Seafood Company. Excellent service, and the food was good. I love the peel-and-eat shrimp seasoned with old bay and a side of butter. Omg the best.

Whether grilled, broiled Or Calabash style seafood is your preference, CF Seafood has something for you! We've been to all 3 locations in the area (Cameron Village, Falls of Neuse/Spring Forest and Wake Forest) and the food, drinks and service have always been top tier. The newest location is in Wake Forest and although the space is a little smaller than the Spring Forest and Cameron Village locations, the atmosphere is still the same. It's cozy spot that's good for families, date night or solo dining where you don't have to get all dressed up (but you can if you want) to enjoy a great meal.

My friend suggested Cape Fear Seafood Company and I'm so glad she did!! Cape Fear is bright and welcoming, almost like a you are transported to Maine. The dress code is casual but I'd say it's best to dress in more business casual (think khakis, polo shirts, summer dresses, that sort of thing...I call it "Hamptons style" if anything). McKayla (?) was our waitress and was phenomenal! One of the best waitresses ever! We were also greeted by the manager as well. Great service all around. I may have ordered too much but it all looked good. The Clam Chowder was delicious and tasted like it has a little Tabasco in it (not spicy). I also ordered the lavender cocktail and though it is very small, it was delightful. I also ordered the Calabash Whole Boat with a side of risotto. Everything was outstanding and the seafood was fresh. I will be back for more!

I enjoyed the food at this location. Their crab dip is delicious, and the shrimp tacos were fantastic! I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious offerings.

Very pretty place but a bit cramped. Staff is polite but the food just was not for me or the family.

Very, very fresh and delicious seafood. Loved the broiled platter, the scallops were amazing. Best key lime pie in recent memory. Wait staff is quick, professional and helpful. Atmosphere is coastal seafood house styled.

Great flavor! We enjoyed the crab stuffed flounder and the fresh catch blackened, the risotto was yum! Service was great and nice ambiance for a casual date night. We will be coming back !
