Just an update a year later, I still go here. They did a summer promotion where the apps were half off during the week until 6. I've been a few times to enjoy a variety of them. Today I got the crab dip that came with pita chips. Just a little too much old bay on the pita chips. I also got the Wednesday drink special the white or red pineapple sangria, which was ok. Overall good spot

Came here around 12 for lunch. There was a good number of people but we got a table right away and enough room for a stroller. We were super hungry from our flight and service was quick. Clam chowder - creamy and flavorful. Good with the bread from the pastaShrimp scampi - I liked that this had a little bit of kick. Shrimps we're jumbo and freshStuffed flounder - I really liked the crab with the green beans and jolaf. Flounder was a bit fishy for me though Bloody Mary was very flavorful but not very strong

I wouldn't think I'd get fresh seafood in Raleigh but Cape Fear Seafood changed my mind. We made reservations so there wasn't any wait especially for Mother's Day Sunday. I'll get right to food. Everything everyone ordered was so fresh. We ordered cocktails but I can remember the names (shocker). The scallops, fresh, the scallops on maque choux served with chicharrones was different but tasty and one can never go wrong with shrimp. The showstopper was the key lime pie. OMG!!! SOOO GOOD!!The restaurant is casual in that it makes you feel at home with the staff but upscale enough to have a shower/party if you need to the food it quite elevated. Must try if your in town.

I wanted to like this place, cute restaurant decor based on Wrightsville Beach area but...food was just okay and way over priced. Fried dishes were 'heavily fried'. There were lots of flys in the restaurant. Overall, it was just sub par :(

So far been at bar for almost 4 minutes- place is pretty slow. Only one person at bar 2 bartenders. Friday night (Jillian not here)Bartender nice got order right.I ordered the house salad bacon on side add scallops.I get the same each time I come and it is different each time. This time the scallops were on the salad which was bad because the scallops were cooked fine but fishy! (I fed them to my husband)It made my salad fishy. Supposed to have green onions? Pecans were very good.If we ever come back I will try the grilled chicken (hopefully not fishy)

We were visiting Raleigh and in the area and I looked on Yelp for dinner suggestions and stumbled upon this option..Really good choice..food was delicious but evidently they were busy because our server didn't show up for about 10 or 15 minutes...she was good and made great recommendations but service was slow...cocktails were on point...I was surprised how busy it was on Sunday night. We would eat here again because overall a good experience.

The hostess greeted us with a smile. We did lunch & it was wonderful. Brittney was excellent. Very attentive & friendly. The smoked salmon alfredo pasta was tasty. Very flavorful. Their calamari appetizer was fulfilling & yummy. We also had the crab dip with fried pita chips. Everything was delightful. Really good. Plenty of parking. They also have rocking chairs out front. Cute decor & resting area. The bathroom & restaurant were clean.

Terrible dining experience. TERRIBLE. - Server tried to convince us that unsweetened tea was sweetened. Never offered or brought refills. - There was a dead fly floating in my mimosa!!- Asked for scrambled eggs, served sunny side up. - A roach crawled up the wall inches away from our table in the middle of our meal. - Never offered refills on water. NEVER. GOING. BACK. Just AWFUL.
