Passed by often & thought I should try. I like how cute this cafe is. I ordered the fried shrimp basket, with a side cesar salad & I must say I was surprised at how delicious the food was! I am a picky eater - so I did expect the food to be bland or have some issues with it but I enjoyed the meal & would definitely eat here again.

We came here to watch the Michigan- Ohio State game and were pleasantly surprised. This is a great game-watch location, so congrats to the University of Michigan Houston club for landing a good one. It's spacious and has tons of seating inside and out and there is a good selection of drinks.

Simply a go-to spot for me! I usually come on Wednesdays due to the steak night, which comes with a fully loaded potato and a side salad for only $27.They grill the steak and for you steak lovers, you know that simply adds to the flavors on the plate! The ribeye is always so juicy and tender, which is filling especially with the sides they add to the order.Overall, a great patio/indoor bar for a casual night for sports or simply seeing friends!

Great spot for a weekend brunch on their patio! This salad is one of my favorites but be prepared for some SPICE! The creamy salsa verde adds a big kick but I reallly love the flavors and how the chicken is prepared. Paired with a frozen mimosa makes for a top tier brunch in my opinion!! The chicken tender basket is a great classic option with the perfect crunchy batter & crunchy fries! Service is order at the counter and quick!

We got there around 10am on a Sunday, and it wasn't too packed. We ordered at the bar, and then found a table. The ambiance was cozy and warm. There were a lot of families dining as well. The food was very good. The pancakes were probably everyone's favorite. The eggs Benedict was delicious! Very very good hollandaise sauce. The bird and a biscuit was delicious as well. Kind of funny how everyone got a slice of watermelon, but it was super sweet and fresh. Would definitely recommend!

Very relaxed and casual bar and grill. If you're familiar with the "Creek" family of places, it has a lot of the same vibe but they're in a busy area so not so many trees and for shade if you want to sit outside. They do have umbrellas on the tables though, but they still left open on the night I was there with friends. I wish they would close them though because the patio already feels kind of cramped with it being so close to the busy street and that only adds to it. The food is very good and everything is reasonably priced, but it IS bar food so expect the usual deep fried stuff. I think someone in our group actually found something healthy, but as they say on the Simpsons, "You don't win friends with salad". Seriously though, as far as bar food goes though it's pretty good.

This place is the definition of what I'd consider your average dive bar. Came in around 6:30pm on a Tuesday and I'd say about 80% of the tables were open. You order at the counter and they'll give you a number. Staff is friendly enough, the decor is a little all over the place, but again, that's what I expect from a dive bar.I ordered the fried chicken Tuesday night special. All dark meat. The chicken was solid, though pretty comparable to something like Popeyes. The biscuit was not warm at all. Kinda wished they had just heated it a little and also would've really appreciated something like honey or butter. The collard greens were really salty, but it was still edible. Mashed potatoes were pretty standard. For a little over $16, was kinda hoping it'd be better.I didn't order any drinks, but they seem to have a decent tap selection along with the canned stuff. Everyone else at the table seemed to think their food was anywhere from "just fine" to "pretty good". Overall, it's fine to just grab a drink and chat with some friends. Food is fine, albeit a bit pricey. Wouldn't really go out of my way to go here, but also wouldn't be super offended or upset if someone decided to pick this place for an after work meetup.

I've tried all their sister properties and I think I'm a fan of the entire franchise. It was reasonably priced and the vibes are always really nice. The staff were friendly and the service was pretty fast. We had their loaded hot dogs and they were massive!!! Super tasty. Drinks were a bit on the smaller side and their frito pie being listed under hot dogs left us... really craving a frito pie hot dog lol

Great hangout vibe and close to Memorial Park. Too many dogs on the deck, so not a fan of dogs anywhere near my food... and too cold to sit inside... so bring a sweater or listen to dogs yapping or whimpering... sniffing and scratching. I've been here a few times. Hummus plate was off the charts, well worth the price. This visit I did Monday Steak Night, pretty good price, could be two meals, nice sized. Steak was rare, but not blackened and not medium rare, which is what I ordered. The female bartender couldn't understand blackened med rare... I couldn't eat it rate rare and took it home. Flavor was ok, needed some seasoning, bland, just in my opinion. I like bold flavor on my steak The baked potato was large. Unfortunately it's precooked, which is a texture issue for me, and it's got a smoked bbq flavor, which was not to my taste. Potato Toppings were fresh generous and tasty. Real bacon bits! Yum! During Happy Hour, my Yeuling Flight beer in a bottle was $6, which makes the beer too pricey to me, so I won't get bottled beer. Drafts were not a deal to me either. Overall it's ok, like I said I go for the atmosphere and proximity to the park. Cheers
