Awesome mexican restaurant in Fairmount! The restaurant looks small from the front but stretches back into really fun dining room. There is a patio option that would be great on a sunny day. The staff was very friendly and personable. I was seated as soon as I walked in but I did make a reservation beforehand. Our waitress made the recommendation for the Baja tacos and they did not disappoint (9/10) The carnitas tacos were excellent (9/10). We also started with the guacamole sampler, which comes with house chips and salsa. The plain guac was just average, but both the street corn and the spicy tuna guacamole were amazing. My friend and I split a margarita pitcher and they were great! A little sweet but perfectly strong. Easily 4 drinks in a pitcher. Overall this place is great for a first date, catching up with friends, or just some amazing food. Cantina Feliz will definitely be added into my regular rotation.

I've never dined here, only ordered take out. But the two times I've gone in to pick up it's been pretty busy so everything must be good. My usual order is the birria tacos with a side of rice and beans. The birria sauce isn't too impressive but given that I've been there twice, it does the trick!

I had a good time here! There is a lot of space, but they took a while to get us in which was absurd because it wasn't really busy -- however food came fast and service was overall good! The portions of tacos were fair, but we also came out happy hour, so I don't know if I would pay full price for the tacos! They were yummy but I wasn't blown away! I liked how the regular guac was a little bit spicy and they had interesting variations of the guacamole, like yellowfin etc.

I've been to this place many times over the years, so decided to check it out on a Friday night. We decided to sit in their outdoor courtyard since the weather was nice and never dined in that area before. It was such a calming, relaxed cool vibe - it almost felt like you weren't in the city. Our waiter came immediately after we were seated. Throughout the entire dining experience, he was very attentive, polite and friendly. Now the food and drinks are so good! The Baja Fish tacos were much larger than we expected, tasty and flavorful (we liked those the best). We also ordered the Nachos de Casa top with brisket (also really good) and the Quesadillas. We ordered a pitcher of the Grand Margarita which was perfect for the two of us. It was mixed well that I knew tequila was in it, but it wasn't over powering.Highly recommend checking this place out and I will definitely be back again!

The best Mexican in Fairmount. The brisket burrito is my favorite thing on the menu. Their nachos are also a great size for a large group. The margarita flight was also a fun addition to the meal!

Made a reservation over the phone but didn't specify indoor OR outdoors nor did they ask which we'd prefer. When we got there, they walked us outside and it was very humid and hot so we asked if we could be seated inside (seeing mostly open tables) and they said no, sorry this was an outdoor reservation. We sat outside for a little and then figured we'd ask one more time after noticing 7 empty tables inside and when we got a no again, we assumed it was because the tables were reserved. However, only one or two of those empty tables ended up in use during the period we dined. It wasn't the end of the world, but still just odd unless they had a bunch of no-shows. Skinny marg tasted like an overly sweet margarita mix so changed drinks after that. Chips and guac were nothing special. Tacos were ok!
