Calista Greek Seafood Taverna

Calista has been a favorite of mine since they opened! My boyfriend and I love this spot & our favorite thing to do is order a bunch of appetizers for our meal. We got the Mussels, Pork Sausage, Dip trio with Tzatziki, Spicy Feta & Eggplant and a Greek Salad. We also love the calamari & veggie chips! The mussels are so flavorful & a must order as well as the dips! Their tzatziki is the best I've ever had & I could eat so much of it. The Greek Salad is fresh and the feta is so creamy. The pork sausage has tons of flavor and pairs perfectly with the salad. We always have leftovers to take home & enjoy the next day for lunch! TIP: If you order an entree have it be the Moussaka it's amazing!!

We have been there several times!Always enjoy the authentic Greek feeling you get when you walk in. The food is always excellent and we always receive great service.Love sitting outside and enjoying the Giralda vibe.

Calista is absolutely wonderful. This beautiful restaurant offers its patrons an immersive culinary experience: the decor, every single delicious item on the menu, and the friendly and hospitable staff will make you feel as if you transported to a beautiful Greek island for at least a couple of hours. Great little spot! Walking in feels like you stepped into one of those hole in the wall restaurants in the middle of Greece! It gives cozy and authentic. The service was really good our waiter was super attentive. The manager came by at the beginning and then at the end I like that kind of personalization. The food was so good! Little ingredients big flavor. Less is more in the dishes for you left to enjoy the simplicity of the food.

This restaurant has it all! I have been twice; when they first opened and recently today. The service is a 10/10 with a very attentive waiter and manager. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, where even on a rainy day you stwp inside and are transported to Greece with the white and blue color scheme, flowers, Hreek products, and Greek music playing. The food is fresh, made with quality olive oil, and overall delicious. The best part is that during lunch dessert is included! I will continue to return to this restaurnt and recommend. P.S the lemon potatoes are the best side dish (you can thank me later)

This is exactly what I was wanting! I love the spread of food and colors! The taste was great. The lamb chops were everything. The only thing I didn't try bc no one really loved it was the chicken skewer. Was apparently very dry. The dips were awesome and so beautiful. I will say it was quite warm inside. Not sure if they're ac was off or broken

The location is prime being there in Giralda Ave and being able to enjoy sitting outside while the weather is still nice. As for the food ordered multiple things to share: lamb chops, the 3 dip combo with pita bread, fried potato chips, fried eggplant, lemon potatoes and the meatballs. Everything was really good to be honest, but definitely not a wow.Would I come back, sure; but would it be my first choice I'm not sure

Calista is an absolutely adorable and delicious spot to eat on Giralda. The decor makes you feel like you're not in Miami, and transports you to Greece where you're surrounded by blue tiles and fresh seafood.I've been a few times and I'm never disappointed. They have a this seafood special that comes with stuffed shrimps, stuffed clams, lobster, fillet of sole, scallops. I have ordered that to share with my family and it is divine.We also loved the green salad, the octopus, beef meatballs and dips.I love this restaurant because everything seems extremely fresh and is also flavorful. Service is friendly and the ambiance is adorable.They also have a delicious frozè.Definitely stop in next time you're on Giralda.

Food is so good and well priced. Huge portions and cooked well. Service is good, it's a pretty casual environment especially outside. Loud and in the mix with the promenade. The saganaki was just okay but the salads were delicious and the keftedes were really good with this green sauce. Would definitely go back and try more. The menu is huge and you get free dessert!

We visited Calista for a Sunday brunch a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with everything!! So much so, we went back last night to celebrate my brother in laws birthday! We were a party of 10 and though a small, quaint restaurant, they accommodated our party so well. Costa, Nico and all staff that helped in one way or another were a pleasure, super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious...the meatball appetizers, calamari, Greek salad, friend zucchini, everything! 5 of us shared the grouper and it was so delicious and tender!! Sharing some pics from Sunday brunch and last night!! We will definitely return as they truly make you feel like family at Calista!
