Cake Swirl

Uhgggg I hate that I went here! I'm addicted to the peach cobbler. I think I've gained ten pounds cause I gotwice a week and I can't stop. Send help, or a trainer.Oh yea the cupcakes are good too and the service is great!

I tried my first cupcake from this location while i was pregnant and now I'm hooked. Lol I ordered through door dash but the packaging was great. Cupcakes weren't turned over and were very fresh!! Normally I hate trying red velvet cupcakes if my Mom didn't make it because some people put too much chocolate in theirs. However, the red velvet cupcake was smooth, not too sweet, didn't taste like chocolate and the icing was sooooooo smooth and creamy!!!! I also had the strawberry and pineapple upside cupcakes and they were just as good. My husband hates sweets but he shared a cupcake with me and loved it. I will definitely be putting in an order for my baby shower and for any other future orders.

Just tried Cake Swirl for the first time. What stood out was the customer service and not in a good way. The cashier was not very customer friendly. If I remember correctly,she never smiled once. I informed her that it was my first visit. I didn't get a welcome or anything. Just crickets. Lol! I had to ask her about the cupcakes and prices. So definitely no service with a smile.Now, to the cupcakes. I ordered the pineapple upside down cake cupcake, a red velvet cupcake and a German chocolate cupcake. The German chocolate cupcake taste very good. The other two cupcakes were just okay. the upside down cake cupcake tasted really oily and it was crumbly. I feel that the red velvet was not that flavorful and it was a little dry. I also ordered some chocolate chip cookies they were not bad but they were not great. They were okay. I also ordered the peach cobbler. It was extremely sweet to me and the crust was too moist but my husband said that it was pretty good. Was there really anything that stood out that would make me go back? The answer is no. The desserts were on the level of okay. And definitely they need to be mindful of their customer service but I do understand sometimes people have a bad day but good customer service wins in the end even when the food is so so.

The cupcakes were moist and delicious! I try to support local and I plan on giving them my money when I have a sweet tooth. The customer service was on point!

Love this place been here 4x never a disappointment. Peach cobbler is good. German chocolate n pineapple upside down is good n moist!!

I woke up from a nap craving something sweet, and this time I chose to check out Cake Swirl..I called and placed my order ahead , then went to pick it up about an hour later. The cupcakes were pretty d@mn good and I will be returning ! A++++

Bear cupcake super moist delicious the banana pudding was my favorite I most definitely will be returning for more strawberry and banana pudding they all were delicious but these two are my favorites

I can't believe I'm just now writing a review for this hidden gem. I've been a faithful fan/supporter of this place for some years now... at least 7 years that I can think of. So yes, I've had almost every cake flavor they've put out. They used to have half off Tuesday, then $2 Tuesday, and now it's roughly $2.95 Tuesday (inflation... I get it). But the cupcakes (and cakes) here are divine. I've picked them up for all types of occasions (kickbacks, teacher appreciation week, housewarming, etc.) and people always ask "where are they located" once they take one bite! The service is great as the ladies are always friendly. Support this business like I have! 10/10

Perfect customer service; friendly associate during my visit on 8/26/22 at 2:20p. Cake Swirl is definitely my new cupcake eatery in Houston. The slices of cake and cupcakes, cookies and brownies are one of the best I've ever had (except for Grandma's perfectly baked goodies). Menu changes but daily available flavors are: Red velvetStrawberry Swirl Cookies and creamVanilla on VanillaI bought a 1/2 dozen only as my Houston family and I are healthy eating enthusiasts but I chose today to be our CHEAT DAY! was literally the best cake any of us have ever had and it was gluten free !!! it was amazing !
